You guys are in our prayers!!

theres HOPE.. so dont get discouraged.. a close friend of mine was diagnosed with MS and although theres still no cure and its still a mystery there are meds that can be taken and you are able to live a full life..
first off Teri has to change her diet.. eat only healthy things!
if the doc recommends - exercise just keep your muscles working dont over do it just reg exercise is fine .. YOGA IS GREAT! or Pilates!
you need to try to live stress free.. i know this is hard but give it a try :)
join a MS support group... they can help you with dealing with ur diagnoisis, what do expect.. and just basically deal esp with other who are going thru this. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
have your fam go along with you ... become educated both you and your fam, with this disease .. the more you know the better..
read lots of books..
montel williams has this disease and you can go to his website and learn more.
just take it day by day ... thats what my friend is doing .. she feels tired a lot but shes keeping her spirits up. shes trying to live stress free.. she getting married next year so shes trying to deal with that aswell... but if you keep strong and a postive attitude God will be with you.

Teri's Dr. had said she had MS and then said "no" per 1st post but I don't think they
quite know what the problem is as yet.

oh .. well its really hard to detect.. theres a lot of false positives out there .. to be sure sure, she will have to have a MRI i believe.
but if its not MS, i do hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

My brother has MS and it took 4 years for them to find it!! :mad: I tried to get him to come here and see NYC doctors, but he wouldn't do it! :mad: :mad: Men!!

Just know that there are lots of great doctors here, and I'm sure they'll take very good care of your mom, Megan.

You know I'm just down the road, so tell your mom if she needs anything (or you, too) just let me know. I'll pm my cell number.

I am so sorry to hear this. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Megan, your mom is luckily to have such a mature daughter. I am sure this helps her to know that you can take care of yourself while she is in the hospital. Best of luck on a speedy recovery...

thanks again everyone! She's had a few MRI's and they know its something to do with the nerves. She does phisical (sp?) theropy, and its helping a lot.

it turns out she doesn't have gall stones, there's some kind of virus. she probably has to stay until at least monday, so they can get it under control. I just talked to her on the phone. She's ordering dinner, it sounds like she's at a gourmet restaurant lol. I'll let you all know how she's doing, thanks again! :)

Megan, Mike is at work and said to offer you and your family his Best Wishes again.
He wanted to know what info the Dr's gave you and I told him what you told us.
Remember these Dr's are going to take good care of her and you will get your
answers soon. Like so many have said, your parents are so lucky to have
a daughter like you.
