I told her I'd really like to have it now and I mentioned going across the parking lot and asking Target if they'd do a price match on it. And she offered me another 5% off the regular price if I would order it through her store. That meant I saved another $27 so I let her order if for me. :D I have to wait a few days for it to get here but I'm ok with that.

ps......knew when you said you were just "looking"...... you'd buy one for sure. Now you must send the furbabies to me so they won't get sucked into the Dyson when you try it out for the first time. When should I pick them up??:D

We are still loyal to our Dyson (and ticked off the salesman lol) but the Kirby was very enticing.

I was having a major case of Buyer's Remorse last night. :( I couldn't believe I'd spent that much money on a vacuum when my Hoover is still working. :eek:

Then later on I spilled some potting soil on the floor and pulled out the Hoover to clean it up. The whiny noise sounded much worse and it took me several passes to get all the dirt picked up. When I finished, the floor still felt a little gritty to me. The poor thing is on its last legs. :p

So now I think the timing was perfect for me to get a new vacuum, and I think I'm going to be very happy with this Dyson. :D
