I get to read all day, that is when I am not on YT!!! But this book made me cry so hard that I cried after I was done with it and I even had dreams about it, and if I would even think about it I would cry. Highly recommended!!!   |

Anyway, I've read Of Mice and Men and The Joy Luck Club. These books were among my first favorites. 2 years ago I became an avid thriller/suspense book reader and Mary Higgins Clark was my favorite author. I even tried reading and collecting all of her books. I have 9 paperbacks and 2 hardcovers of her books so far. I got tired of it later on and started reading "chiclits". My bookshelf now is filled with bright pink and pastel covers (typical of chiclits) and have collected all of Sophie Kinsella's books. The silly part is I keep buying books at barnes&nobles but never got around signing up to be a member to get extra savings.... :D |

I go through phases. The World According to Garp got me into John Irving. Then I entered my cowboy phase and read everything I could find by Louis L'Amour, then a bunch of science fiction, then detective stuff like Cornwell and James Lee Burke and James Patterson and Michael Connelly. Lately, I've been in a slump. I'm STILL reading the last Harry Potter, a page at a time. |
"Fermata" "Vox" and "American Psycho" very good books, if anyone is interested. =) |
hands down, my favorite book is the bible (new world translation)!!! |
I read a lot of books, both non-fiction and fiction. I go through at least 2 books per week. My favorite series of all time is the Outlander series, by Diana Gabaldon. These books are loved by men and women alike. So far, there are 6 books in the series, each book being around 900 pages each. I've read all 6 a couple of times, and now I am listening to the unabridged editions on audio-cd. The books are: Outlander Dragonfly in Amber Voyager Drums of Autumn Fiery Cross Breath of Snow & Ashes There's also an book called The Outlandish Companion, which explains many of the gaelic terms and phrases used in the book. |
