These 2 videos make my blood boil! 2 women here in ny were caught beating their dogs on surveillance cameras. From what I read they both got arrested and dogs got taken away. Poor things! :(:mad:

Both videos show them beating so don't watch if you think you cannot. I was able to watch only because I heard they both got rescued already. Otherwise I def. would not be able to. Also the videos aren't that clear.

This is another one! I can't believe it! And in the SAME building-the 'projects'. I live a block away from these housing projects. I hope I never see these people around. Sick people live in this world. She needs to be hung. What could that poor little dog have done to deserve that kind of treatment. Nothing. Poor baby.

Those videos are just heartbreaking. I couldn't watch them. Poor babies.

Write letters/emails to everyone in the area, landlords, city council members local, state and government officials. You can be the voice to speak for the abused dogs.:mad:

This is horrible.

And the problem is...this goes on everyday. There just isn't any camera's to catch it. Same goes for child abuse. A sick world full of sick people. :(

I know, that's what I was thinking and the thought is just heartbreaking. Just imagine all the ones that aren't caught and all the dogs, or animals that have to live in torment and fear all their lives:(

I couldn't watch it. I hear the stories and it eats me up. People are sick! The only good thing here is these poor babies will finally find a loving home and find out what an actual family is.

I couldn't watch it, the last one I watch of the man beating the dog in the elevator still haunts me. Some people are unbelievably sick and cruel, I would like someone to give them the same treatment they gave the poor defenseless animals.

WOW!! That definitely made my blood boil!! That is soo wrong in soo many ways. Animals are helpless and defenseless..

Someone needs to leash up those owners and drag them around...

I HATE the human race sometimes - i really do. There are good people in the world but far far to many people filled with evil and just plain sadistic

the poor dogs just want love and nothing more. they count on us (humans) to take care of them and then we have people like this that abuse them....

People are very sick this is why I have so many pets because they are such loving creatures and I get along WAY better then half the people I know :rolleyes:

The one with Chris Grant has been going around for a while. There is an "I Hate Chris Grant" page somewhere. That guy is beyond sick. Can you imagine that you had a friend watching your dog and then you saw a video of him doing that? That's what happened there.

The other two videos - sickening! It amazes me even more, if possible, because the little dog on the elevator was just walking into the elevator and doing nothing to annoy that person! :(

Vilette-the first link the lady was arrested I believe and her little boxer is rescued. He is still recovering but is already adopted, many ppl wanted to adopt him! But he had many broken bones, and such. The 2nd link the dog also got taken away. This lady is a councelor to ex criminals and she was mad because he peed in the hallway. She could have just cleaned up the pee, not beat the crap out of the dog until he blacked out. She surrendered the dog and I believe it got adopted.
And the third that horrible man was taking out his bf's dog. He is really sick in the head. I guess he gets pleasure from beating up poor defenseless animals. I can't believe he would call it over to beat it up again. Way to make a dog not trust you! This dog went back to the owner but there is a petition, a facebook group to take the dog away and I will be writing to the ASPCA as well.

Not to add fuel to a fire, but recently I was at a Houston Astros game, an announcement was made that if a fan goes on the field at any point they will receive a $2000 FELONY trespassing fine and up to a year in jail.

Animal cruelty is a misdemeanor and does not carry a big fine here in our state, but we are making progress especially in the world of dog fighting!

§ 42.09. Cruelty to Animals

A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly:
tortures an animal;
fails unreasonably to provide necessary food, care, or shelter for an animal in the person's custody;
abandons unreasonably an animal in the person's custody;
transports or confines an animal in a cruel manner;
kills, seriously injures, or administers poison to an animal, other than cattle, horses, sheep, swine, or goats, belonging to another without legal authority or the owner's effective consent;
causes one animal to fight with another;
uses a live animal as a lure in dog race training or in dog coursing on a racetrack;
trips a horse;
injures an animal, other than cattle, horses, sheep, swine, or goats, belonging to another without legal authority or the owner's effective consent; or
seriously overworks an animal.
An offense under Subsection (a)(2), (3), (4), (9), or (10) is a Class A misdemeanor, except that the offense is a state jail felony if the person has previously been convicted two times under this section.
An offense under Subsection (a)(1), (5), (6), (7), or (8) is a state jail felony, except that the offense is a felony of the third degree if the person has previously been convicted two times under this section.
§ 42.091. Attack on an Assistance Animal

a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly attacks, injures, or kills an assistance animal.
b) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly incites or permits an animal owned by or otherwise in the custody of the actor to attack, injure, or kill an assistance animal and, as a result of the person's conduct, the assistance animal is attacked, injured, or killed.

§ 42.10. Dog Fighting

A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly:
causes a dog to fight with another dog;
for a pecuniary benefit causes a dog to fight with another dog;
participates in the earnings of or operates a facility used for dog fighting;
uses or permits another to use any real estate, building, room, tent, arena, or other property for dog fighting;
owns or trains a dog with the intent that the dog be used in an exhibition of dog fighting; or attends as a spectator an exhibition of dog fighting.

Sec. 6-118. Roadside and flea market sales.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, trade, barter, lease, rent, give away, or display for a commercial purpose a live animal on a roadside, public right-of-way, commercial parking lot, or at an outdoor special sale, swap meet, flea market, parking lot sale, or similar event.
(b) This section does not apply to:
(1) An agent of a business that has a certificate of occupancy from the building inspection division authorizing the occupancy of the premises for purposes of operating a business selling pets;
(2) Reserved.
(3) An event primarily for the sale of agricultural livestock such as hoofed animals or animals or fowl commonly raised for food, dairy, or fiber products; or
(4) A tax-exempt non-profit organization founded for the purpose of providing humane sanctuary or shelter for abandoned or unwanted animals.

As you can see the laws desperately need to be reworded and jail time mandatory, along with hefty fines, I hope to see this in my lifetime!


Every time I write a letter, I get a response, so I know people are reading my words and hopefully someday they land on the desk of someone who has the authority to make the changes we need so badly.

I have seen faulty dog toys pulled from shelves because of mass emails, also that despicable woman in New Mexico that beat the puppy she adopted from a shelter lost her job at the courthouse, she was the worst!

OH MY!!!! I started watching this and the phone at work rang and I realized that I was PISSED off and couldn't figure out why, then I went back and remembered the video. I am SUPER pissed off now. I only watched the first one, my stomach cannot handle another one. I want to beat down that woman, what a DISGUSTING B*TCH!!! :( :( Poor baby!

aarrrggg I really am sick to my stomach... SICK! :( Today I took my outdoor bunny out of her 'mansion' and put her in the air conditioned house in her wire cage bc i felt it was too hot for her to be outside. That is how I CARE for my animals. My boys are my life, my heart and soul, they make me a better person. I cannot stop shaking after watching those. I feel like Im going to throw up. Can someone post the petition on facebook? I'd like to sign it too.... people need to speak up on stuff like this. That monster does not deserve anything in this life, nothing! I hope he ends up homeless, jobless, alone and suffers a horrible disease that makes him in so much severe pain that he wishes he could die but he can't.... :( Worthless POS in my opinion.

Oh my. I watched the Chris Grant video right until he lured the dog up on his leg and kicked it violently away. :( I didn\'t want to see the other two after that. Those are images I can never get out of my head.
It is so sad this type of thing happens to dogs and children everyday. We only see a fraction of these horrible occurances because they are caught on video.
