I'm going to see it tonight. Can't wait! Wanted to go last night but I didn't think I could swing a day of work on 3 hours of sleep. :rolleyes:

I'm going tonight as well. Finally watched New Moonm last night. Defnintely better acting than Twilight!!!! I'll probably irritate some folks here, but I just don't see the attraction to Robert Pattenson at all!!! He was downright gross looking in New Moon and anyone who seriously screamed when he took his shirt off after seeing the wolf boys obviously has no idea what a truly buff and beautiful body looks like!!!!!!!!

HAHAHA! I actually agree. I don't see the attraction to him. I do not think he is good looking. I recently saw his latest movie, Remember Me. I didnt even think he was that great of an actor. I hope he has a decent career after these books. In my eyes, he is just a really good vampire. :)

It was a great movie. Best one yet so far to me. I saw it at 12:30 this morning. The theater had it showing in 6 different theaters and all were sold out. They even added a 2:45 am show and people were piling in for that when I left.

I don't see why people like Edward either. Now Jacob on the other hand...

Yes, not attractive!! And Kristen is very pretty, but I really don't think she has much range either. *sorry*

Was it me or did all the "cold ones" actually look more beautiful ( like the books say)
Even Bella looked prettier.

I thought the movie was great. This book was my favorite of the series.
Hated the final book and am not looking forward to Jacob's "imprinting" in that one.

I actually agree with your take on the actor, but I read the books first and fell in LOVE with the character of Edward. He looks nothing like what I had him pictured.

The movies no where near do him justice. In the books, he is represented as a romantic guy who has waited a lifetime, and more, for her and will do whatever it takes to keep her happy. Her happiness is his reason to continue.

I think Jacob as well as all the wolf boys are represented as the hotties and Edward and the vampires are almost made creepy. That bugs me about the movies.

Me either. I think the whole last movie(s) will be weird.

I will probably be alone here but I think this was my least favorite movie of the 3. Maybe because I love the book so well.

I actually LOVED Edward in the books but was also very disappointed with him in the movie... in the books I'm a JACWARD fan but in the movies its all Jacob. Hubby says its weird because he's only 17 but he turned 18 in February so its all good.

I saw it at midnight and loved it. I also think Taylor is much better looking than Robert. The makeup in this movie did look so much better. Even Jasper looked kind of hot to me!

I was afraid to say so before because everybody else (friends, etc.) keep raving about it and I'm like - I just don't get it. :confused: Not bad, but not great, esp. since they have 2 under their belt already.

Oh it was my favorite of the 3! My least favorite was the first one..... not enough action and too much 'love story'. LOL (I'm soo not a romantic) I loved this one! Victoria is beautiful!

AGREED... this 1 was my favorite. I think that people forget that these are not slim books and that it would be hard to cover EVERYTHING in each book. We would be in there 4 hours instead of 2 and change... not that I'd mind. LOL :D

Me either. That became obvious to me after sitting in a theater for 3hours just to have a good seat...then the 2+hours of the movie. No wonder I was stiff the next morning! :p

I love Jacob!!!! Eclipse was good but not as good as I wanted it to be....I actually think I liked New Moon better. I'm looking forward to the last movie but as mentioned here the whole imprinting thing is creepy in a sick kind of way. Will be interesting to see how they play the last book out. Oh ya and I"m not happy they are doing it in two parts :(

I am. That way that don't have to cram everything into one movie. Just too much and lot's would be missed.

Before I saw the films I thought Robert Pattinson was ugly as hell, I saw the first film and started to like him! whats up with that?? Maybe it was more the charactor I liked then him but who knows.
But yes as the films have gone on hes gotten uglier in my eyes...
Where as Jacob has always been hot :)

Yes, very fugly :rolleyes: yet he does somehow work as a vampire. Plus, so tired of the attitude of these young actors (not all of course) they are just too good for their fans and they are just doing this for the art and otherwise don't want to be bothered.
Ummm, too bad. You are collecting massive pay checks, appealing mostly to a younger audience, part of your job is to be seen, have your photo taken and interact somewhat with your fans. If you don't like, try working at mcdonalds and see what real life is like :thumbdown

<sigh> I am utterly pathetic. I JUST got back from seeing Eclipse for the 2nd time. :rolleyes: But a friend had not seen it and couldn't find anyone to go with her....I couldn't let her go by herself now could I? ;)

Because the director of Twilight (Katherine Harwick) did an awful job and wanted more money for the 2nd one than they were willing to pay her.

They were filming the other two and taking them into production at the same time--kind of hard for one director to do two movies at once.

Not sure who is on for the last one? :confused:
