Thank a member! This thread is sort of like a game, so if a mod wants to move it that's okay! Okay the purpose of this thread is each member thanks another member for something positive they've done to help them or just something fun! I'll start Thank you LadyJane for helping Rory, and your compassion for creatures is truly inspiring. Thank you Red98Vett for giving me the idea to braid my yorkie hair and for always making funny post! Thank you Wylie's Mum for being so compassionate to everyone, always! I'm sure you have personal opinions but I'd never know because you're so gosh darn professional! You'd make a lovely nun. Thank you Captain Noonie for your blunt posts that are easy for me to understand, but never rude. Thank you AprilLove for having such stunning yorkies Thank you Mardelin for teaching me what to look for in breeder, including the little thing that never would have occurred to me to notice. Spread the love YorkieTalk! |
Nice. The only thing that jumped out at me is the nun comment. I wonder how Ann would feel about celibacy? :p:D But, seriously, yes Ann is very kind....and also tries so hard to accomodate each personality here on YT. She is honestly the best mod I have run across on the web...and that is not for points. She really does do a great job here in spite of being constantly hammered by negativity. You could not pay me to do what she does. |
Nice idea for a thread! Thank you 4doggiemama for all the kindnesses that you do very quietly on YorkieTalk. Thank you cslat1 and lexipoo for being my friends. And much appreciation to all that work so hard for Yorkie Haven Rescue. |
Disney, you rock :D! So, I'm first going to thank you for starting this fab thread. I'd have so many people to thank, I wouldn't know where to start, and I couldn't end! So, I just want to thank everyone who has given me support, education, understanding, friendship, compassion, hope, laughter, advice, and everything else I'm not thinking of. :) |
thanks Disney for starting this.....i have way too many to thank...i have made great friends on here...just keep the love flowing ladies....and our few gents that are here too....lol |
Thanks Connie for always being there for me and always making me laugh. That has been a full time job lately. Thanks Baby Blessing for always being such a compassionate, spiritual member and friend. Thanks Red98Vette for helping me when I first joined and was totally clueless about threads, how to post pictures and for doing my Avatars. Thanks DamSweet for your concern and making me feel better about Pixie's surgery. Thanks LadyJane for talking to me when I had questions about LP surgery. Thanks to all the kind people on YT who are here for the right reasons and help so many of us with their knowledge and concern for our babies and us. Thanks to Mom to Hot Rod for making those great soft e-collars and sharing her experiences of LP surgery with me. There are so many more but my memory isn't what it use to be! lol |
Thank You! I would like to say "Thank You" to every member here for their postings. I have had Molly since November and have had many questions that were answered here. It has been very "interesting" owning a Yorkie. We have had many bumps in the road that has sent us running to the ER or calls to my vet. I have had great advise given to me by members from YT. I am dealing with a hair issue with Molly and the advise that I was given helped me make decisions once we visited the vet for her apt. I did get wonderful advise from Dwerten, JSmither, Nellye56, and JennyLeroux. I apologize if someone has been left out, but these members have stood out and helped me through these issues. Thanks again to all for your wonderful posts!:) |
Thank you Ladyjane for being there for all those wee ones that need help Thank you Nancy1999 for helping everyone requiring help with their Avitars, profiles, etc Thank you Wylie's Mom for taking on the thankless job of Mod and just being you. Thank You Megan's Momma and Bon Bon for taking up the banner for the Yorkshire Terrier Thank You to all the members for loving their dogs and doing what is best for them. |
Thank you Dwerten for helping out with Magic and for posting for me lots of links Thank you Maximo for being a willing partner in our shampoo and conditioners try, search and comment upon. And also thank you for your comments on my other two non Yorkie dogs. You Rock ! thank you over and over again Mary (Mardlein) for not only answering my questions on pm but for doing all so much that you do to help out all us "newbies", your support in the breeding forum is non pareil Thank you - Brooklynn for being there for me to talk to in real live person on the phone, your support and advice has made a difference in my life. thank you topknot for responding and reaching out to me in my time of need. Thank you Stryker for sharing not only a room in NYC but your thoughts and ideas. And finally thank you to all those posters whose names are too numerous to recall for your caring, your posting, your love and knowledge of this breed. Respectfully |
I'm not really good at "kissing up" but here goes :D Thank You to all the Members who just take the time to say "Welcome" Thank You to all the Members who take the time to answer questions that newbies have even if it's been asked a thousand times before Thank You to all the Members who take the time to post their experiences regarding health, training, nutrition, photos, and just day to day funnies about their Yorkies Thank You to all the Members who donate to keep this forum open Thank You to all the Breeders that take the time to help others with their invaluable knowledge Thank You to all the Exhibitors who share their knowledge and love for the breed and us teach about the Yorkie standard Thank You to the Members who rescue - whether it be in a formal situation or quietly in your home Thank You to Admin for his vision Thank You to the Mod/s for keeping the peace I hope I covered everyone - because it isn't just a few people that make up this site - it is "everyone"! :) |

There are so many members who make YT what it is. I cannot single anyone out without feeling like I might leave someone out. Thank you to everyone for everything! This is a great community even with the spats. You cannot put a diverse group together without having them. |

I started to thank all of the people that I have come to know on YT and wanted to make sure that I didn't leave anyone out. So I went to my friends list and started to look at everyone's names and realized that there are 229 people on my friends list. Each person on my list has somehow interacted with me on YT. Of course there are some that I talk to just about every day and others that I haven't been back to YT for months but collectively this is what makes YT what I love. :thankyou2 :clapsmile:clapsmile:clapsmile:clapsmile |
Nancy1999, for patiently insisting that I learn how to decorate my page, for helping me write my Newbie welcome, doing the store list, for warning me of unscrupulous members since I am so naive, and for the factual information that she posts. And one of my first friends here on YT.....sweet Shirlblack. ~Joanne~ |

To all the members new and experienced that ask the questions I thought of but never posted - I'm sure I learn something new everytime I read an answer:confused: To BonBon - who finally put my mind at ease about my choice (or should I say Bridget's choice) of food when my head was just swimming with questions and concerns.:questione To Mom to Hot Rod, Owned by Fiona, and any future designers/sellers who make such beautiful custom articles that I have or will purchase from - for not blocking me after the umpteenth e-mail with questions and/or changes.:hmmm33: To Patti - for sharing her LP experience, well wishes and "HUGS" when Bridget was diagnosed with LP...thank you - Pixie is in my prayers for a full and speedy recovery!:hug60: To MaddiesMom - whos vistor messages always make me smile and who taught me that my windows will look clean if I drank enough wine:cheers: And last but certainly not least - all the friends I have yet to make (hopefully) and all those who will offer advise, because I'm far from done asking questions! Thank you all for welcoming me to YT - you've all made me a better "Yorkie Mom" and my "Owner" thanks you too! :thankyou2 for the laughter :thankyou2 for the tears :thankyou2for your friendship |

awww thank YOU for doing this thread :) like others - I've been here so long my list is endless - so I'll simply say that I thank those that have been my friends - my advisors - my hero's and also just for taking the time to talk about silly stuff along with the serious stuff - I remember how small the site was when I joined and back then needed a place to hang and will always consider this THE place to be when I have the time. I will never ever forget the support I received when my husband died - very emotional even to bring it up and to this day I can't ever thank those that were there for me enough...... it truly showed me how many outstanding people there are out in the world......and each day I still see that compassion and goodness in people - It's a huge site and we can get lost in it but it's still a place that I've always felt at home at and miss being able to get here and post like I used to. hugs to all and our beautiful little healthy dogs and their 'people' and hugs to those going thru hard times-be it with your pets or on a personal level ....these last few years with such a major lifestyle change -I can so appreciate the way some must feel just knowing there are people here that really DO care when there is the unknown to face - I know I did and the people here were just amazing - they still are. We'll always have a tad of drama but all in all - the bottom line is we all joined due to our love for pets..... and Disney - you're on a roll girl !! Keep it up and don't fall off !:p |
Disney...thank you for starting this thread. You are an amazing young lady and wise beyond your years. I am thankful for all members who post to my never ending questions about what is good for my babies. I am thankful for admin for having such an awesome forum that I feel so honored to be a member of. I am thankful for all the members who made me realize I am not crazy for having such deep feelings of love for my babies. I could in no way list each member who I am thankful for, because there are so many, and we all love our babies and want what is best for them, and that is why we are all here. |
Thank you Wylie's Mom (and Nikki2) for giving me a slightly different perspective on PETA. (A thread from quite a while back that was overall, fairly insignificant thread that probably only I remember.) And thank you to all the people for the compliments on my rendering of "The Great Samich Heist." (Now THAT is old school.) Those are just two things on YT that stand out in my head. I can think of lots of other people to thank for things over the years, but the majority of them are not here anymore. :( |
My family and I want to thank DWERTEN, she is truely a yorkie angel, she has guided us through the challenging times we had over the recent few weeks with our beloved Tucker. And because of her persistence and love for the breed my Tucker is still with us, and will be for awhile. I wish her all the best in life for all she does for us!!! She deserves it... Thanks again Dwerten, ....and where are you??? I have a Tuck issue??? |

Most excellent thread. I would hate to leave anyone out. Thank you to everyone on this forum that has contributed whether they know it or not to this huge body of knowledge called Yorkie Talk. Even the stubborn, cantankerous naysayers by sparking heated debate, cause knowledge to be thrown about and absorbed. So thank you to them! Thank you to all the members that have sucked me dry of money. I love all the beautiful items I've received in return. The soft collars, the beds, the dresses, the toys, the treats, the useless crap (my dh calls it-with a smile)..my girls and I love it all! These are my first Yorkies and you can only Google so much. Had it not been for this site I would be woefully ignorant. (not that I know all that much, yet). I have gleaned so much information and it would take a lifetime of scouring the archives to read it all, but I have laughed, sniffled, learned and had moments of semi-righteous indignation, courtesy of all of you that have gone before me. Thank you. There are also those that I miss and don't know where they've gone, such as FiDebra. Anyone? I look forward to a long stay and more schooling. Thank you and God Bless Us everyone! |
Thank you Disney for starting such a positive thread. Thanks for all the posters. And thanks for YT, there is so much info here and I'm still reading and learning. |
