Thank goodness I just finished a huge, delicious Italian lunch. :D It wasn't Olive Garden, though. Olive Garden is one of my faves. Crystal, I've never heard of Jimmy Johns. What kind of food is it? |

"Kani kama crab & cream cheese rolled in rice & seaweed, lightly tempura battered & topped with spicy tuna, kani kama crab mix & sliced lotus root; finished with a sweet eel sauce & spinach tempura bits" LOL...I bet for some people, that's totally gross :p...but it's SO good! |

Seaweed is so delicious...can't explain the taste, very fresh. And served with a vinegar-y dressing. |
Sorry to hear about all the growling tummies in YT land- I'm stuffing my face with a 7 piece sushi sampler and pumpkin miso soup;) |
What is it with sushi??? I might be able to understand the rice part and possibly the seaweed, but the kinds that have raw fish? There are times when cooked fish grosses me out! Isn't it slimy? Strong? Am I missing something good? |

Hmm, I wonder what it tastes like. Somebody enlighten us. Is it "fishy?" |

Yucky. I never understood why most people like mushrooms either. |

It's really something you need to taste and experience......maybe after a few glasses wine;). It's served in small pieces, commonly with rice, you dip it in soy sauce laced with wasabi (like a horseradish taste) and monge! It's addicting:)&fun! |

Sushi is not fishy at all, and if it is you probably need to go to a new sushi restaurant. I also believe it's an acquired taste. The most common roll is the California roll which generally consists of crab meat (cooked), avocado, & cucumber wrapped in rice and wrapped in seaweed. The seaweed doesn't have much taste but the flavors together are phenomenal. I'd recommend trying this first for anyone curious about sushi. Oh, and eel sauce  So delicious. It is a very sweet flavored sauce. The fish is not the same grade fish you would buy in your local supermarket. |

Seriously (this is kinda embarrassing), when me and hubby go out for sushi, and we put a piece in our mouths - we often have to close our eyes, bc it is *that good*. Or, we do a little chair dance. Sushi = little moments of taste ecstasy! |
