:confused: It seems that there is a lot of 'snarky' posts lately. I understand people can get their feelings hurt but isn't this suppose to be a fun way to get information and converse with others who share our love for our dogs??
I am not meaning anyone in particular as all have different issues, but it's disheartening to read all this bickering.

That is one of the reasons that I rarely post anymore...people need to be nicer to each other....it is so sad to see some of the posts. Some are just down right mean..I usual stay on another site where it is way more friendly!:)

Folks, it is a forum, and no one is going to get along with 100% of the other people. If you don't like a certain reply, you can ignore it. Some of you have ecidently never been on an Automotive Forum, a Bandog Forum, a Cane Corso Forum, or a political forum.

This is the best on I have ever been on. I may not agree with everyone, and I do sometimes fly off the handle, but remember, you do not have to have dinner with me, socialize with me, or talk to me. However, I may just have a tiny bit of knowlege that you are looking for, or some past experience.

Seldon posting here does not resolve the issue that you are having. Well, that is my opinion, and my opinion and $1.90 will get you a Grande Coffee at Starbucks.

HAHAHA! Even in your quirky response you speak the truth. There are so many posts and threads that I avoid. I don't agree, and I have nothing helpful to add, so I skip it.

I was part of a car forum, and while I knew girls were only meant to post by cars in mini skirts (yeah, some of the boys posted that) what made me leave was the way they treated me at a meetup. It's really their loss because I look fantastic in a mini skirt! :p

Many of us are frustrated at reading the same thing over and over again, people asking for help, then not taking the help, etc, the list goes on and on. I for one still try to post in case I may be able to help someone, whether it be the op or someone else just lurking. I don't go out of my way to be rude, but if I know a certain person has a "history" or is totally wrong about something, I'm going to post my opinion.

We are all passionate about this breed, and if I read something that infuriates me, how can I be nice about it? How can you?

They are brutal on automotive forums. I don't understand. You have to wear a mini skirt to post? :confused: J/k. I used to go to meets and never had a problem. Maybe because I do not wear a mini, and would not even look good in one! :D

What forum were you on? Each has their own verbage and heaven help if you say something nice about a Nissan GT-R on the Corvette ZR-1 Forum.

All forums can provide some knowledge. I have given Tech tips, and learned some myself.

I do agree if there is bickering going on a thread I just ignore it, but sometimes if does get out of hand and I feel sorry for the one that posted the thread. Some of it is unnessary and keeps people from coming back.

I think what she meant was girls are only good for posing next to cars and looking hot, not posting. :D Meaning, they shouldn't talk or drive or anything, just show up at the meetup in a bikini top and mini skirt and sprawl out on top of a car and take pics with guys. :rolleyes:

BF was on an M3 forum and everyone seemed pretty nice there.

I was on 8thcivic.com a forum for 8th generation Civics. My biggest sin was owning a Civic Si, girls were only allowed to have a reg civic, no need for us to learn how to drive a 6 speed manual car. Oh well, call me a rule breaker!

God forbid a girl know how to drive a stick! I guess they only want us to know how to drive one kind of stick! LOL I wonder how they felt about Devon Aoki's character in Fast and Furious? She had a PINK highly modded S2000 right? Maybe it was automatic so it made it ok. :rolleyes: I forget. that is an old movie.

I call you automotive affectiando! I taught my wife how to drive a stick when we got married. She had to learn as I had a 67 Corvette Stingray 427 that I bought used for $1,600 with 7,000 miles from another Offi er that was deploying. How I wish I had kept that car. She was outstanding. Now, when we go to Europe and rent a car, it is stick, and I let her drive as she is fearless. I refuse to drive in Rome. She drives there as if she was doing it all her life...you know, just pulling out when not looking, speeding up when you see a predestrian, etc. SI is a nice little ride. Throw a Vortec Supercharger on there, and a Catback, and some air, and you are good to go!

You think I haven't thought about that? I already have one cute little money pit and I don't need another right now. :p I will say that I hated my Si for the first year I owned it. I kept comparing it to my RSX Type S. I loved that little car! I learned how to drive it in 2 weeks when my dad had free time.

I love stingrays! My first car was a 67 mustang, a v8, got 9 mpg. Good thing gas was cheap back then! It was an automatic though.

I now drive a 13 yr old corolla. :thumbup::rolleyes:

I do feel rude, because I want to reply to everyone in here, except the trouble maker ones lol, but to reply to everyone, will take me for ever lol, and I do have a life after all lol, I bite my tongue a lot, because there is no reason to be mean or nasty, to answer, anything, I'm not saying to sugar coat anything just been plain nice. If someone don't want to take advice that they ask, just pass on to the next thread, I recent posted on a thread that I wish now I had not, I let my emotions take over, but from now on, I will be more selective and just ignore, ignore, ignore, I don't have a single drama on my life, (for now lol) why look for one, some people like it and enjoy it:rolleyes: not me. I have seen so many threads that have taken a turn lately but I think that we all need to understand that we are never going to see eye to eye. I do think that we all have enough going on in our lives and this is supposed to be a supportive and informative forum and if we all thought the same then it would be useless... enjoy the wealth of information and continue to share your own knowledge for those just learning about the joys of yorkie ownernship... :D

In Bambi didn't Thumpers mom tell him, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". (Just joking here) I used to use that on my kids.

I grew up on that phrase too :) but agree with some - it's a big forum-lots of personalities and as long as I've been here there's always been some 'drama' - it's pretty much part of online posting and happens on most every site I've seen - some are way way worse than this one. Outright rudeness is wrong but differing opinions are what makes the world go round - what one may see as a 'bad' post - someone else may learn something

just something to think about :)

My DH is on the Corvette Forum for C-6 and also the Great Lakes area.

As a former owner of 2 corvettes I have to tell you - it's so hard to drive normal in a normal car after years of driving one. I've had a few speeding tickets (nothing crazy) but seem to still think I'm driving one even after 5 years - I really miss my vette but circumstances forced me to give it up. Funny how a car can be such a joy to ride while others are 'just a car'. I was a better driver in a vette than I am in the car I currently have :confused:
