I haven't worn it in quite a while, like... five years? And fun fact, my skin has developed two keloids (lots of excess scar tissue laid down), one on the third pierce on one ear, and one on my belly button. Definitely not sexy.

I had my nose pierced for a while too, which I liked a lot. If I were young enough, and worked in a profession where I could get away with it, I'd get an eyebrow pierce, and probably a lower lip one. For the lip, I'd get a little gem, off-center. I saw a girl with one like that a long time ago, and it looked like a really cool beauty mark.

I also got a tattoo, before it was trendy. It's 20 years old now and looks like h*ll... I keep meaning to get it re-done.
I have an eyebrow piercing, and am no spring chicken. I had it done in my late 30's. Always swore it was something I would do before I got to old to do it. After a few margarita's and a little peer pressure from some intoxicated friends...I jumped into the chair with no fear. Didn't feel a thing. LOL
I have a silver music note dangle as I love music and love to sing. This is one piercing I have always LOVED!!!

I also have the nose pierced. That one hurt like HELL!!!

I have the top & bottom Done of my belly button For 9 years now It healed right away.

I got my belly button pierced when I was 14 (I'll be 22 in August) and havn't had any problems, ever!! I did have to take it out about a week after I got it and it closed up but I took a sewing needle and repierced it myself.

Honestly though it was probably the most painful piercing I've ever had :p But it goes away in a day or so.. the pain ;) Now my tongue was difficult becuase it swelled up and I couldnt talk or eat :rolleyes: but no pain

I have one too and it's been 12 years without any problems and I still love it:p I would really like to get my nose done to wear a little tiny diamond but my mom and dad would freak:eek: because I'm only 41...lol.

K I was just wondering. Cause I have mine pierced since I was 15 but like 2 summers ago I was at the beach and the ring fell out and I took too long to put one back in so it semi closed. Well i love it so I want to open it again. The thing is when i put a ring in it will go in but it wont come out the top hole. Do I have to go get it repierced?

That depends how brave are you? Like Jess I had to repierce mine and Oh it hurt. Can you imagine feeling ripping skin, that was me, but I pushed my belly ring in. Yeah I was stupid back then. If your going to do it have a sterilize needle, I don't know the size of your ring to tell you what size gauge to use. Go have it redone if you have the $$

You should have it redone because they use hollow needles to remove the extra skin and tissue and it will heal and look much better.

I guess I'm gna get it redone but I'm scared! lol I don't want to do it myself cause I might infect it

OMG so did mine. I loved mine and had it done twice..after the second one migrated out (I didn't feel a thing) I said heck with it. So I got my nose pierced instead..lol.:eek: I love my nose stud....that I have had now for about 5 years. I wish I could have my belly button done but it won't stay in. I wonder why that happens?

Can you fit a smalle guaged ring in there?? Or an earring??

Ir you can still fit some kind of ring in there its not necessary to get it repierced you can just guage it back to the size you want..

i have had mine for about 7 years and never been sorry. had a few problems and used the salt water soak and it's been fine ever since.

I had mine done since I was 16 years old and when I got pregnant at 19 I took it out and last year I decided I wanted to see if I could still get a ring in there (23 now ) well I could see it went in but the top layer of skin, like you mention had overgrown. I just pushed it and it did a little pop and went through no prob! I don't even wear a ring but I tried one last week and it still is open.




I've pierced my nose three times on my own and had my labret pierced but took that out 4.5 years ago and I have a indent under my lip, looks silly hate it!

OMG I could never! I would but I should mention when I first got it pierced I fainted-and when i used to change the rings i would get lightheaded and still do so someone needs to do it for me lol
