Driver's License Deletion

License data must be made retrievable by The National Motor Vehicle License Bureau in order to form a consolidated and centralized database of U.S. driver's licenses. On August 3rd, 2005 Congress enacted an amendment to the Freedom of Information Act, providing public access to motor vehicle driver's information in an electronic format. "

This is upsetting but I thought I should pass it along. Check your driver's license. Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was... picture and all!!Thanks Homeland Security! Where are our rights?

I definitely removed mine. I suggest you do the same. .
Go to the web site and check it out. Just enter your name, city and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.

Thats too funny guys.While we are on the subject of drivers licences,My daughter got her drivers licence yesterday and she is 15 years old.Was just wondering what the law is in your country for teenagers getting their licence.

This was funny :) But it is possible to get someone's driving record. I don't remember if it shows the lic #, but I remember I did it to check out how many tickets I had to help my cousin pay ;)

You aint nothing nice!!! LOL We just went though a refy and found a lien on our home in my name. We thought we were vicums of identity theft. Turns out it was a case of mistaken identity. Someone with the same name, same birthday but different ss#. You would think they got the right person before putting a lien on somebodys home. And now with what we are going though with my daughter with steeling her identity on Myspace,,,,,,, I was pissed at knowing there is yet another easy way to get ahold of someones information.
