A friend of mine was teaching at Tuscaloosa and living in Birmingham...she told me about this place. I am sure this is what she is talking about. I just had to go google to find the name.

I'm very glad the weather subsided...the NASCAR race this week is here in Talladega and there were so many campers around the track that wouldn't leave. That would have been a major disaster...mullets and rednecks scattered from here to GA! :eek:

Ok...Johnny Ray's is a BBQ chain here in B'ham and they have famous pies that are out of this world amazing. The BBQ is great, the pies are better. But the best BBQ in the state, hands down, uncontested is Dreamland.
Mom likes Lemon best, I like the Chocolate the best, so he brought home 1/2 pie of both. So I got to have a piece of each! :p

LOL, the S E X thread. Good for a laugh. (The one liners, not the issues.)

We are just stating the worst of the storms here in E. TN.
The winds are horrible... I have watched the news and saw the devestation left on many communities. Prayers for those who have suffered loss in this.

I agree, I think Mississippi got hit really hard.

Well - the storms were way worse than I was thinking while watching the news - I hope all are safe and sad that so many lost homes and lives -

I heard there was a mile WIDE tornado - CNN is all over it this am (that's 5 am central time) and I don't even know what I'm up this early :(...but the news is right there filming direct - Mississippi did get hit hard

:sidesplt: Yep ... I know better but it was the first time we have seen him since we moved back!! In Colorado we called the local weather guy "Casper Milk Toast"!! They absolutely could not give an accurate forecast in GJ ... the best way to know what the weather was ... look out the window! I can still hear the idiot ... "Expect heavy snow in the higher elevations but we will have a dry day here in the Grand Valley"! Excuse me ... someone needs to tell this guy that there are flakes falling at our house as big as half dollars ... duhhhhh!! :rolleyes:
