I don't have any of those old pics on this computer. I think this was back in the day before digital cameras!!!! I'm safe! LOL |
3 Attachment(s) Ok there are some oldies (really BAD oldies!) from a disposeable that I have stored somewhere. I have a lot of pics in a winnie the pooh lunchbox (buhhaha!!) i kindly stored FAR FAR Away. LOL All my pics are pre-digital too. not the best quality, and at least they're not incriminating. they're silly, but they'll do. Ok here we are. 1. Me as a candykid decked out in funfur some trance/jungle party, before kids started going practically naked lol 2. Me in those bright blue 60 INCH! phat pants before a Jungle party 3. Some booty house party when I just went as myself. jean style phat pants, t-shirt, and hat To be honest, I'm wearing a newer version of phat pants as we speak. I think they are so comfy. lol |
LOL! I was totally into winne the pooh!!! I had a tigger backpack that I would bring with me all the time! I seriously don't think I have any pics. I used to keep them in photo albums but I have moved so many times since those days, I'm sure they are long gone! But I know what you mean, the clothing styles have changed sooo much! So funny sometimes people would think guys were wearing skirts bc the raver pants were so big! |

My mom wasn't stupid, but she was a big hippie so I'm sure she wasn't expecting innocence from me either. She always told me to be responsible, to know my limits, and to have fun. I defnitely had fun, and what's sad is the funerals I had to attend in the last few years where people we knew never stopped "the party". Addictions took over, and I feel sad in that way. I experimented, but that's as far as it went. I can still go out and listen to that music now and dance just as a hard. |
Ohh, sad... I'm sorry to hear. :( I didn't and still don't have a large group of friends so I personally haven't ever had to go through anything like that. I don't think my parents knew what was going on, but I am proud to say I still got straight a's my senior year of high school. I still have no idea how I did that! |

I think i'm too YOUNG :p to know what you're talking about... I'm like so confused right now lol. I am 19, almost 20 years old. So I was born in '90 haha. But since you're talking about music... I was a totally 90's pop music chick girl. Backstreet Boys were my life, lol. My room was covered in posters, you couldn't even tell the color wall. I'll have to find old pics. I ended up becoming somewhat 'friends' with the BSB in 2008 and it was sooo strange after growing up with them. They are really cool great guys and I will hopefully be seeing them atleast once this year. But even though BSB was always my #1... all the pop stuff was what I listened to. I still listen to primarily pop. I've never been a rocker chick, or an emo, or anything. I went thru my "ghetto" stage in middle school where I was always wearing Echo and Timberland and stuff and listened to a bunch of rap. hahaha. Middle school was my bad time, I was always mouthing off to teachers and getting in trouble, and I got really bad grades and missed a ton of school. But I was never a wild child! I think because my family has always been pretty wild, my uncles are still huge partyers, my whole family is! They like to have fun! And I love having a family that will stay up and party til 3am, but I think since it was so normal to me and I grew up like that, now me being almost 20 could care less. I've been in like every bar in my area atleast once and i'm not even 21 yet! I don't drink often, I've never even tried drugs, I tried to smoke a cigarette once and HATED it, same with cigar, I didn't even KNOW how to smoke it, lmao. Junior year of HS my little 5 year old brother died and kinda made my life turnaround for the worse and after that, I just didn't care about highschool stuff, I didn't even go to prom or anything. :( So unfortunately (or fortunately?) I won't have too many wild stories to tell my children someday... |
Oh Yeah.... 1996 to 2001 in NYC - I still LOVE House Music, makes me so happy to remember the 'candy days' hahahaha |
