Need Ideas for Fundraisers Hello, I co-captain a Relay for Life team every year and this year we're having a Bark for Life. Basically a Relay for Life for Dogs... Wondering if anyone has some ideas for a fundraiser I could do at the relay. I thought about selling bottles of water for the dogs as they walk but you need to have a permit from the Health Department to sell anything at these events and that adds a whole extra set of preparations to the ordeal. Any idea? Thanks! |
How about bandannas? They dont cost much to make. You could also possibly find cheap dog tshirts and put cute little sayings on them with iron on letters. Maybe some dog toys (place a big order from petedge or somewhere similar that has cheap toys and then sell them at the retail price) |

I like the shirt and dog toys ideas also! |
Do you have to have a permit to sell everything or just food type products? |
Get lifesavers (the individually wrapped ones or a little roll of them) and put a tag on them saying something like: "I am a LifeSaver for dogs"..... or whatever you want to put. Sell them for $1.00 In this economy, it is easier to get one dollar than a few! |
Ohhhh I did not think about the food. You might need a permit for that. I would focus on getting dollars, though! |

I have a idea. Take a photo of the pet with the owner and sell it to them. There is little expense with that and almost everyone likes pics. |
Ohhh! Good Idea! I can just set up a background for the picture and bring my photo printer. hmmm |
