Nirvana was my fave band too in 92-93. I cried when I found out Kurt Cobain died. I LOVE Foo fighters too. Dave Grohl is so goofy! I totally barfed at the foo fighters concert. :cool:

Yes I live in the fantasy world in my head. I knew someone was going to point out I live where the celebs congregate. I love Dave Grohl! I still can't believe he played all the instruments for the first Foo Fighters album. Ok, so he's the only one I know a little about, but that's because I think he's a genius!

He's also got a crazy beard and horrible tattoos. And his Echos, silence, patience grace album was during his divorce. Love that album. I love his videos too.

Do you ever wonder what happened to Chris Novoselic (sp?) the bass player? He was never in Foo fighters. Haven't seen him since.

Personally, I like mine to match. Right now I'm rockin' the blue fingers and pink toes. So I need to address that haha!

The answer is.... OBAMA! Cause his first name starts with a B and is hard to spell. :p

I say you don't need to match them. Unless you want a wild color like green or yellow. Then i'd paint them one color or the other. I usually go clear on my fingers and red on my toes. My 15 y/o sister always paints like one nail pink then black and alternates. It bothers me so bad. But i suppose it's the 5 year age difference that makes it seem so childish to me. =]

LOL -- hey you're probably better off. I used to be real into the celeb thing and I've kinda gotten out of it. I don't really pay attention anymore. All I used to watch through middle and high school was MTV, E!, VH1, etc. I loved it all but now I'm over it... who cares!

Call me weird but I was never into that stuff in jr high or high school. I was always lost and didn't know where all the "current" hotties came from, and I was embarrassed to admit it too. I was never into boys either. I was just the biggest oddball.

I think that you should just do whatever you want you cant make ppl happy so don't worry if they match or not as long as they look nice to you.
I do my own nails I use dark in fall/winter and light color in spring/summer.
I am wearing purple with white stripes on my toes and glitter on my hands and live them LOL

I was also in a oddball even tho I paid attention to celebs and stuff lol. I never got into HS drama or dumb stuff... when soo many of my friends were boy crazy, I just wasn't into it! I would see cute guys I liked and stuff but some of my friends were totally nutso for boys, I just didn't care lol.

I try to stick in the same color family. i did aqua toes last year because I got a new tattoo on my foot and its different shades of blue, so the color matched my tattoo LOL But for my nails I did a french mani but instead of the pinks or nudes I did a light blue color. I HATED it. I felt like a bridesmaid. Then the manicurist took creative liberty of doing a sparkly silver streak b/t the blue and white tip and it was even worse. I took it off the next day! LOL

I do black on my toes ALL the time. I keep my toe nails short and do black toes and then I can do whatever color fingers I want. I love color and I have a darker complexion so I go nuts with the burgandys, oranges, even purples on my fingers. I have really long, really fat fingers and really long strong nails, if I cut my nails short my hands look like man hands, if I paint them too light it does not match my skin tone so Ive learned to accept my 'man hands' (my hands are huge) and paint them in fun colors that match my skin tone. If the color is really wild I will have the nails cut shorter though.

PS - they do not need to match at all. My girlfriend did her toes pink and her nails lime green. She reminded me of a spring flower or easter egg, but it was super cute! :)
