Your cool, colorful signatures I've always noticed that people have really creative siggies with different fonts, sizes and colors. How on earth do you guys do it? I tried changing mine in the user CP and it didn't work. I even lost my color! Can someone help? |
Sorry im no help. Im just learning all this stuff my self. But Good Luck. Im sure someone will help you. |
Well this is odd? I don't understand why it isn't given you different options or ??. I'm hoping something can be done to create the siggy you want. I'm also sorry I am no help to you on this either. :( |
It's funny, I can do either the font, the size or the color but not all together! I'm hoping one of our creative members can help me out. |
30 views and no one knows how??? C'mon guys, help a sister out! |
ok if i understand what you're saying i can help you! :D now you can do a font, size, and color right? lets say you start with color, if you want to change the font then you highlight everything go to font and click what you want. is that confusing i reread it it sounds confusing, if it is tell me i'll put it a different way! |
Thanks Megan! I've tried everything!!! It does not seem to be working. I'll try again though. I thought that maybe people were doing them in a program and then pasting them into the edit signature page. Let's see what I come up with. |
heres how I did mine....highlight text do font..highlight text do color...highlight text do size........each time you want to change part of it you highlight it first...hope that helps :D |

GOT IT...I just played around and if my siggy is TOO Colorful - I'll tell them it's your fault :D Ok...WHEN you add your url Description and add your URL...go back and find the TEXT and highlight that....then pick your color - don't copy the whole thing Like you type....Chewie on Dogster...in the description...THEN ....You paste in the URL...don't highlight the URL that shows up...it worked for me - just highlight the words Chewie on Dogster with the color you want |

This is a fiasco! OK, Chewy is back on dogster - well he was never really gone, it was my mistake with pasting. Our names are bigger but still have no color. I'm still gonna work on it, but I appreciate everyone's help! |

I think I got it now. :) |
Deb, your siggy looks GREAT! now I'm really jealous. |
Thanks you I had d to go back and redo the dogster links. The links wouldnt work. they work now What are you trying to do change the color of it? all you have to do is go in your user cp and highlight those names and click on color then pick the color you want and then save changes. |
Gerry where are you? |
Whatever you want to be in bold needs to be surrounded by these tags: [ B] your text [ /B] (without the spaces inside the brackets) Whatever you want to be in a certain color needs to be surrounded by: [ Color=*****] your text that is ***** color [ /color] (***** stands for a color term - and obviously there should not be any spaces inside the brackets) Whatever you want to be in a certain size needs to be surrounded by: [ Size=**] your text that is ** size [ /size] (** stands for a size - and obviously there should not be any spaces inside the brackets) I think that when you try to do more than one thing to the same text, it moves the brackets around. Make sure that the brackets are where they're supposed to be, and the spaces are not where they are not supposed to be. I know it's confusing but maybe this will help. *shrug* |
