Patti's Dad died this evening
 
Patti, mom to Cali, Pixie and Roxie, lost her dear and precious Dad tonight. What a shock. It happened so fast. For those of you who haven't seen the prayer request for her and her Dad, he had cancer and was put on Hospice a couple of days ago. He was suffering with such terrible pain, but finally got his pain under control through Hospice. He died about 8:00 tonight, and Patti was there with him. She was so close to her Dad and had been his caregiver since her Mom died 3 years ago. She is devastated and I feel so terribly bad for her. She said she misses him so much already. Please keep our dear Patti in your prayers.

While I was typing this message, Patti called and was on her way home. She is so grief stricken and my heart hurts for her. Having lost both my parents to cancer, I know exactly the pain and heartache of it all.

Patti...I'm here for you...call any time...day or night. Love you and thinking of you. I send my heartfelt sympathy. Your precious Dad was so blessed having you in his life.

I am so sorry to hear this :( I am very close to my dad as well and I can\'t even imagine the day I have to say goodbye. Patti, You\'re in my thoughts and prayers :rose:

My heart is breaking for her. :( I cannot imagine the pain. She will be in my thoughts and prayers throughout this painful time in her life. :love:

I am crying to hear this. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a parent. Thinking of Patti and her family. May her Father now rest in peace free of the pain.

I am so sorry Patti. I wish I could give you a hug. I lost my Dad the day before Thankjsgiving and it has been hard. Remember he will always be watching over you. Hugs

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved Father.

I Lost my Father 6 months after the sudden death of my Mother. I was devestated beyond belief...and thought the pain would never heal. Although it never completely leaves..it lessens in time.

I pray your pain and grief does as well. Take care~~~~~

I\'m so very sorry to hear about your Dad. I don\'t always know what to say at times like this but I do want you to know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

I too lost my mom to cancer last October. I know exactly how you feel. Praying for you, Patti. So sorry for your loss.

Patti, I am so terribly sorry. I don\'t pretend to know how you feel, but I can tell you that after losing my Dad in 1985 the pain doesn\'t go away but eventually I am able to remember all the precious memories of him. God bless you and comfort you.

Oh Patti, Im soo soo sorry. There are no words to take away your pain, but please know alot of us here have you in our prayers. Please take comfort in knowing your dad is in peace now and there will be no more pain or tears for him. Its the ones left behind that hurt. Take one day at a time and trust in God to get you through this difficult time. Again I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs and prayers coming your way, Linda
