Sooo sad, dog died from being trapped in it's own fur. UGH UGH UGH!!! This makes me sick to my stomach! :( POOR POOR baby. 12 years old...I know my babies, in their golden years, will be treated like royalty. RIP sweet baby. Pekingese died from being trapped in own fur | ohmidog! |
That just is so sad. I get my dogs groomed every month. I can't imagine letting a dog get that matted. so heart breaking. Poor thing |
For the life of me I will never understand some people. If they didn't want the poor baby why couldn't they atleast take him to a shelter where he would have had a chance? Leaving him like that was beyond cruel. I can only imagine how he must have felt being so scared, in pain and hungry. :( Snooty's a pekingese and will turn 16 next month. Pekes tend to be a strong breed and that little guy might have lived many more years if only he was saved sooner. God Bless him and hopefully he felt love from those that saved him before he passed on. :( |

Are there actually people so heartless that they just pass by a dog that's clearly suffering? The little dog died a very long and painful death, and I think the owners should be located and jailed, given only bread and water till they are almost dead! :mad: |
I wonder what they mean by found, could this have been a pet owner, or was this a miller's dog? His life must have been utter misery. |

This story made me cry. How? HOW????? I don't understand. I look at my sweet little one and I cannot understand how something like that could ever happen to a dog. They are sweet and god put them here for them to love us and for us to love them right back. They teach us lessons, they take care of us in their own way.... I just don't understand. RIP sweet baby. |
justice just my own thoughts..shouldn't neglect of this kind be a capital crime? It has been proven (is a fact) people that are cruel to animals in general and especially in as children, are of a sociopolitical psychology dysfunction, thus they are predisposed to being the same way with people, so if someone could do this or allow this to happen to an animal... |
How could this be a "miller's" puppy mill dog, he would have been unable to breed in that condition, seems like perhaps a pet owner (verses pet adopter and lover) who was a hoarder, or just plain neglectful, definitely "owner" by someone who was severely mentally ill. |

matty the peke sad story, the guy who brought him in was not the owner, he has other animals- this dog was dropped in his driveway, there was no way matty walked there he couldn't move. the street also is kind of backroads not any main street. |
matty this boy was prob not a mill dog, the vet who took him is real big on knowing the mills of ma. and this is the city unless they drove a while to drop him off he belongs to someone |
oh my freakin *** ! That is horrible :(:(:( the agony that dog must have endured .......it had to be a long time to get like that - just his poor nails being curled made MY temper curl - What is wrong with people ? How could someone let any living animal suffer to that extreme ? That poor dog. I hate to say this but at least that poor baby is no longer in agony..... I really hope they find the people who did this ....I know the courts go light but this is just utterly inhumane........they need jail time. The only excuse for this would if they are insane - and if not - they deserve everything the courts can throw at them. I wish they had an Animal Cruelty Database like they do sex offenders. I hope they end up in jail with NO bathroom - no change of clothes - no toothbrush no nothing :mad: bread and water is too good for them I guess I'm ranting but that was awful ....I hate thinking there are more dogs out there going thru the same |
I have no words as to how disgusted I feel!! I always said that, I wish no harm to anyone or anything but there's an exception to whomever let this poor dog suffer. I hope they feel a fraction of the pain and torment that this poor dog endured!! This made me so sad.......:( |

Horrible. I was working at the shelter Wednesday and they had a cat come in the day before that was so horribly matted. They spent an hour shaving him and they showed me what they got off him. It was like a whole formed body of matted hair and he still has terrible mats. They are going to put him under to do the rest as he was so traumatized by the shaving. He is a beautiful black and white Long haired domestic and he looked so terrified. Way too many bad owners out there. |

4 Attachment(s) When I first brought Truman home his hair came off in one giant mat. :( It was actually hard and felt like a rock. He had mats between the pads of his feet, around his genitals that had to be very painful, the hair inside his ears that were so infected it was running down the side of his face. Once I got him home I started with a pair of scissors and clipped it all off slowly in one great big mat. Months later he was just beautiful. He would have been here with me a year this month. People are just horrible the way they treat animals. Truman was one of the lucky ones~that poor baby. No animal deserves to die in such a horrible manner. It says that his muscles had atrophied which means that he was not able to move, stand or walk for a very long time :( |
