I promise I won't post tons of pictures of my new healthy precious granddaughter Adair Grace :) but.....

this one is soooooo perfect I had to post it. She's laying on my son's hand right after her birth - look at those cheeks ! Isn't this adorable ?

she's really keeping those eyes open now ....my son is having a hard time dragging himself to work - he wants to be home with the baby :)

well ya know - this IS a dog forum :) but I had to post these - that 1st picture melted my heart and every time I look at it - it melts again....

I wish I had a photos of my sons like this one when they were born....it's just too precious...All I have is pictures of me looking exausted and them all scrunched up on my chest :D

What a beautiful baby girl Adair Grace is.
That first picture brought tears to my eyes. It's so touching.
Look how she is almost hugging her daddy's arm.
That needs to be blown up, framed and hung over her crib.
What a keepsake that picture is.

Another teary eyed baby Adair admirer here......that first picture is beautiful, she is adorably precious, Vee! And, just look at all of that dark hair, I can't get over it!

LOL...about the Granny name....I never want to be "Granny" either. I know it's my perception, but Granny always sounded older than say Gram, or Grammy.

And Vee....I remember all to well the first pictures of my sons and I. Why couldn't they have made this kinds of photos when ours were born?!? I've got the typical hospital, scrunched up, red face baby pictures that only a Mother could truly love.....in 16X20 size:eek:.....what was I thinking???:D

OMG what a doll Villette! I love the first picture (I think I posted on FB) it should be on a calendar! With something like "from HIS hands to ours".

The second picture is amazing! A lot of babies take a while to look like babies - you know they look like little wrinkled old men - but she is just perfect!

Thanks so much for posting. I don't have any grandchildren yet but love to see everyone else's.

Those pictures are simply amazing. Your granddaughter is so beautiful. I can relate to having your first granddaughter. I have two sons and I always wanted a girl. I can tell you it is better than I ever imagined. There is no love like it. Congratulations and I didn't want to be called Granny either. I made up my own grandma name( my little 6 yr old granddaughter calls me Na'Na')

PS: post all the pictures of your granddaughter you want, thats what grandma's are supposed to do.

So beautiful! We have a similar pic of our grandson in his Daddy's hands... I think Anne Geddes is responsible... she does amazing baby pics.

OMG!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!! Adair is so perfect!!!!!!!!! Just perfect!!!!! I LOVE the picture in your son's hand! I will sooooo take a photo like that when ever I become a Mee-Maa...yeah, I won't be a Granny either...Mee-Maa is going to be my name when that time ever comes...hopefully not for another ten years since mine are 20 and 18. Thank you tons for sharing the wonderfully beautiful photos!!! Oh, I bet I know who bought the puppy outfit :D She's sooooo darn cute!! Don't you darn stop sharing photos!!!!!!!! What a beautiful little girl! The first picture looks like the ones they put in magazines or calendars. :thumbup:

Villete, you'll have to excuse my ignorance, but how do you pronounce Adair? Grace I have no problem with. :p

Villette, That first picture is priceless! Yes those cheeks, but also the beautiful hair, those little hands around his arm, that sweet newborn baby skin (I can almost smell it!); it truly is a gorgeous picture. So how big will the framed print be.............FULL WALL SIZED?:D I wouldn't blame you.:p

BTW, yes this is a DOG forum, but this IS the Off Topics section............so you feel free to keep those pictures coming!:thumbup:

:):):)thanks so much all for the great replies - I really can't stop staring at her ....I'm just so happy for my son and wife - this was the 3rd try to have a baby and it was the CHARM !

And DvlshAngel985....her name is pronounced with a short A not a long A
(like Ah).........Adair

oh and my son came up with a cool name - V-Ma....that's if she can ever say it lol - my brother couldn't say MY name till he was like 5 years old - we still make fun of him for that,.
