Dear YT, I am back in full moderator mode :)

As many of you know I was laid off in Dec. 2009 and after 11month I found a great new job, left NY, moved to WV and started a position with West Virginia University. We have finally settled in here just in time for the biggest snowfall WV has seen in over 100 year (yay me)!

Simon and Hallie made the transition very well. Hallie has kidney disease but I found her a great internal medicine specialist in Maryland and she is doing ok, good days and bad.

Simon is in love with our new place (in NY we lived on the first floor of a small apt.). Now we have 2 floors, double the space and so many windows so he follows the sun all day.

All in all, life is very good here and we have no complaints!

Kim, it is SSSSOOOO good to see you back! I have missed you so much!

I am glad to hear that "life is good" and that Simon and Hallie have adjusted to their new home. Little Hallie remains in my thoughts and prayers -- many more good days than bad. Sending bunches of hugs to all of you :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:

I've missed you so much, darlin'! Even though we stayed in touch via email during your new journey, there is just nothing like seeing you *here*.

I am so glad things are settling in for you, Simon, and Hallie :).

Awww...it's great to see you back Kim, you have been missed, even though Ann has held things down here quite well!

That's great about the new place and all of that room for the kids, especially all of those windows for Simon. :) I hate to hear of Hallie's condition but good news about the new doctor for her....you do have some good vets there at least!

Give them hugs and kisses!

Enjoy that snow :p I'm tired of it!

Welcome back Kim. I'm sorry to read Hallie is sick but happy she's getting
the best care possible.
It's great that things are all working out for you. I know it was exciting
as well as stressful making that move. Simon must think that move was
for him, with all the room and excercise he's getting up and down the
steps. I'm sure he's thinking he has his own gym.:p

Well, I WASN'T going to EVER forgive you for leaving for so long, but I'm so delighted that you've landed on your feet in full sprint that I am willing to let you slide.

I'm so glad things are looking up. This economy is murder, and it's nice to hear a success story!

Now all we need are some success PICTURES of Simon and Hallie!

Since we have been snowed in for over a week we have to get out today so I'm taking the kids on a search for a nice pet friendly store so we can do some shopping and get some good stuff :)
