R.I.P. Feminvstr, Kimberly King I heard this sad news from a friend of hers a couple days ago, but didn't want to post anything until I could confirm it. Her personal phones have been disconnected, her Web site shows no new activity but there's been no obituary. Today, a second personal friend of hers confirmed that yes, she died Dec. 26th after a battle with lung cancer. I'm sorry to be the one to break it to those who knew her and hadn't heard. While Kimberly hasn't been active in a long time here, she was always one of my heroes. By a stroke of luck, I got one of the last dogs she whelped, Jillie, and Jillie's social skills say all you need to know about Kimberly King. As a breeder, she had friends and she had enemies, but she knew how to raise Yorkies. Her Web site, Yorkie breeders site: AKC Yorkshire Terrier breeder exhibitor of yorkie puppies - Yorkiepassion, is packed with information about Yorkie care and ownership that is a must read for Yorkie owners. I hope the information she has there can be preserved. R.I.P., Kimberly. Thanks for teaching me about Yorkies. You will be missed. |
WOW.... RIP - Kim :( |
So sorry to hear your bad news. Bless her and her family |
How Horrible! May she rest in peace! |
How awful. R.I.P. Kim. I am glad you no longer suffer. |
R.I.P. Kim, you will be missed, I really enjoyed our phone calls about our yorkies. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. |
So sorry to hear this, my condolences to her family and friends.:( |
I'm so sorry to hear this, I've heard many wonderful things about her. |
Oh Mike, I didn't know and am so sorry. Kim was a very big part of YT and was very passionate about her Yorkies (I wonder what has happened to them) and this is a sad day. I am sure everytime you look at little Jillie you will remember Kim and the devotion she felt for her dogs. It really is hard to believe she is gone... |
May you rest in peace, Kimberly. |
R. I. P. Kimberly, I always liked Kim, loved to hear her talk about her kids, she really knew the Yorkies. I always wanted one of her kids but it never happened, the closest i have come is to have g-kids from CH Tangeltop Blockbuster (Buster). I will surley miss her!! |
I’m sorry to hear that Kim has passed….I often wondered if she was alright……Very sad news….:hands: . With today’s use of computers it has allowed us to connect with people we otherwise would have never “met”…..I’m glad Kim logged on to Y.T and decided to become a member……Kim’s presence here allowed many families to adopt one of her beautiful yorkies, and their lives are forever enriched for it …….She also provided Y.T. members with helpful, informative and educational posts concerning the care and raising of yorkies. …..A while back she was there for me when I needed help and I never forgot that……. Even without being fully aware of it we do tend to see names on here that become like “friends” to us, they are familiar……Sometimes we get to know a little about that person by reading their posts….And when they become absent I can’t help but wonder if things are alright with them…Are they ill?....Are they ok?.....Kim became one of those “friends”……….Kim you will be greatly missed …..:wilted_ro |
I'm so sorry tio see this. Kim always had very good information to share. |
I am so saddened to hear of Kim's passing. She was the person who reached out to me when I was looking for a breeder and told me to call Susan at Stardust yorkies. I called Susan that afternoon and later that same night I went to Susan's and brought home Pixie. I have developed a friendship with Susan and have gotten Dixie and (RIP) Roxie from her. If not for Kim contacting me and telling me to call her I would never have gotten my girls. RIP Kim. |
My sympathies to her family, loved ones and friends. Rest in peace Kimberly. |
