2.- hardly any viruses 3.-Time machine 4.- Safari is great! 5.- Operating system doesn't have bugs. 6- Stickies. 7.- Spaces. 8.- Iphoto ( which i love!) those are the things that can really make a difference between a Mac and a PC. You get what you pay for. ;) |
We have an IMAC and a MacBook, two i phones( one each) and like 6 ipods. Once you get a mac you are going to ask yourself, why did i wait so long to get one?:) |
We have a BIG desktop, a laptop, I touch, I phone... I love Mac, I would never go back to a regular PC... I love safari!! |

Once you go Mac, you'll never go back! I'm on my 2nd MacBook and I love it. Now when I have to use a PC or get asked questions about PCs, its foreign to me. |
Hi, I am a Macbook user also. I happened to walk into an Apple store in May 2008 and walked out the owner of a white Macbook. I love this computer, it does everything I need for home computing and guess what it still runs as fast as the day I got it. At the time I was working for the leading PC seller in the world (HP) as a Product Manager can you imagine the trouble I would have gotten into if they knew I converted to a Mac? I still use a Windows Laptop at work, I don't hate it and it works fine but performance levels are very low and I have only had it since April . I would advise you take the One to One classes (the classes you referred to for $100.00 per year). They are GREAT, the instructors are so nice and knowledgable. |

bought the mac, took the 1 on 1 classes, love the mac. I've had it for 2 yrs now but honestly it was frustrating at first because of the change. I was taking something so simple and making it hard because I was so use to my old pc laptop. I still work on a pc at work but it's like my yorkies, I can't wait to get home to it and will do as much of my work at home as I can but because of doing work at home I have ms word, powerpoint(which I use a lot for work) and excel on my mac. |
Hi my name is Jamie and I am a mac/apple addict. I feel so at home in this thread! I got my first mac (imac) 2 years ago and now we are an all mac household from ipods, iphone, imac and macbooks. I will never own another pc. Macs just work. Less complicated to me. Once you mac, you won't go back. Love them! I highly recommend getting one!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: |
I've had Macs since 1989, with the exception of a couple of years where we got a PC so hubby could learn it for his job. YUK! I was ready to throw that machine in the street in just a short time. Anyway, my problem is that I learned on a Mac and it is so simple, that PCs were frustrating, not to mention the VIRUSES!!! Anyway, just wanted to say that I have had Macs since 89, at home and at work and never had one fail or break! Good machines, simple to use, reliable, and worth every penny! I have a Mac desktop, laptop, iphone and I'll probably get the ipad for travel! |

That's what has attracted me to the Mac. Less complicated with everything loaded and no worries about viruses. Can't wait for my free class this Sat. |
Can I also recommend that if you do choose to purchase a Mac, to also purchase the extra warranty Applecare. The tech support is wonderful and if you have any problems they don't give you a hard time, and if they have to they will give you a new product on the spot. |
