Jake looks like such a good guy!!!! At least you have to give him credit for not leading the girls on and disrupting their lives longer than necessary. If the connection just isn't there, adios!!!! Good for him!!!! I just wonder if that will mess up the network's plans to air the show for however many weeks....

I thought Ashleigh was the pretty blonde? Maybe I am getting them mixed up. I liked her, but I thought it was awkward with the one on the double date with Ella. It was so obvious that he wasn't into her.

And I want to say that Ella had the most graceful goodbye/exit interview.:D

Yeah Ashley was the pretty blonde but when ever they went to that little couch room to talk, they had a lot of awkward silences and she was like all over him and he was just not into it at all.

Yeah I too am glad that he is going with his heart and not leading girls on that he knows are not going to work out.

I haven't seen any previews! Here in Korea they only start playing the previews on Sunday, then the show airs on Tuesday. Maybe he's not going to eliminate anyone? At some point he's going to have to have one of those weeks.

I like Tenley best. Ithought I liked Ali, but now I'm not so sure. She has a really bad temper.

I will have to disagree abut Tenly and Ali. They are such instigators! I won't defend Vienna though, she seems sweet when around the bachelor, but so do all the other girls. I just found it shocking when that brunette that wasn't a focus (they didn't even show her one-on-one with the bachelor!) started to give him warnings about her too! The one with the green eyeshadow? I don't know her name! It seems as though Gia and Vienna are friends again.

I know!!!! That brunette hardly got any screen time, then she gives him the warning and gets booted. lol.

Maybe it's just that I like Tenley, but I see Ali as the instigator and Tenley as just getting pulled into it. Obviously she is talking smack about Vienna, but it just doens't seem as hateful as Ali.

Maybe Jake will see Ali and Tenley as instigators and Corrie will win! :p

Hmmmm but Corrie was the one who made her stand up comedy bit all about Vienna... So she is a big instigator I think... I havent really seen enough of her to know whether or not I like her

I have been avoiding this thread because I didn't see the show. Now that I have.... I'm kinda not surprised Corrie went home. But, I'm dying to see what happens next week! They do such a good job with the teasers!!!

Well, since my pick from night one was Corrie and she got the boot, I have to join team Tenley. I believe she is every bit a "goody-2-shoes" as Jake is...and I love it!!!
I don't understand why any man would want a "princess" like Vienna. She is already her Daddy's princess. Ughh!
I think Gia's mom ruins it for her on the hometowns next week...we'll see.

I was sad to see Corrie go this week. I thought they could get close, but they didn't really have time. The whole process doesn't lend itself to falling in love gently. They have to fall madly, head-over-heals-driven-by-passion-and-sex-appeal in love. I wish all the best for Jake, but it will be a hard sell for me if he choses Vienna.
I haven't seen why all the girls dislike her, but they legitamately do, so there must be a reason.
But the reason I don't like her is because she is a child. So she's sexy. So what? She has a LOT of growing up to do. Jake doesn't need to raise a child. He needs a woman. A kind, sweet, fun, believing-in-love kind of woman. A woman who has a realistic view of love and marriage.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in....I love this show. It just relaxing, no real thinking involved. If Jake doesn't get rid of that awful Viena...I will lose all respect. She is just awful!!

Amen, but I was glad that he kept her around for hometown visits, can't wait to see how daddy acts around his little princess. She seems to be the biggest phony ever, or as the other reality shows would say a "fakey ass bitch." I don't know if we can say that on YT, I need to stop watching VH1. :rolleyes:

Did I miss something??? Why does everyone hate Vienna??? I feel like I'm out of the loop. *sigh* as punishment I'm going to go watch all the episodes again. :p

Well, I didn't see the first episode, but my son told me about it, she was bragging to the other girls that she always wrecking cars and daddy just buys a new one. One of the girls did a comedy skit about her and said that as well as how she's always walking around without her top. What's interesting is that psychologists say that if you want a man to fall in love with you, go on an ultra exciting/dangerous date. If a man won't fall for you while Bungee jumping, he'll never fall for you. The hormones a man feels when in danger are very similar to the ones he will feel when he's first smitten, so this is a jump-start in a relationship. I knew he was going to fall for her after the date; it could have been any girl. She handled it well, hugging him at the appropriate time mid air, but hormones determine so much who we fall in love with, and logic is left behind.

I find it interesting that Jake last season told Jillian about bad guy Wes, who none of the guys liked and this year falls for Vienna who none of the girls like. You can say all you want about it doesn't matter if the other guy/girls like her, it only matters how you feel, but in real life it does matter, if this person has no friends. If she can't be friendly with the other girls, she'll never be a friend to him either, and in marriage, you need a person who can be your friend.

I agree with Nancy. It is very frustrating to watch Jake just disregard what the ladies are telling him about Vienna. I know he must have been upset with Jillian for brushing him off about Wes, so he should have some compassion on the girls for trying to let him know. He should be able to see that the situation is very similar, but he's too close to it, so he doesn't see it.
FRUSTRATING.

Went back and saw the first episode. YIKES!!! He needs to stay away from Vienna. I'm about the same age as her yet I think totally different! I wouldn't go bragging about daddy buying me this, daddy buying me that. She should be focusing on showing everyone who she is as a person. I guess she doesn't know!

Thanks for linking that! It was great to see the background on all the girls, and find out why he can't find a girl all by himself. Can't get a second date? Wow, that says a lot. Jake seems to take life very seriously, and maybe the right girl can loosen him up. I do think some girls would become easily bored with him, even when he laughs it seems a little forced. After seeing that I'm thinking Tenly might be the best girl for him. I think Ali seems to be lots of fun though, I loved their date in San Francisco, she seemed to get him in a lighthearted mood. I also like the way he behaves around Gia, they seem to have a little spark. I guess I don't really care, as long as its not Vienna! I found this link on Vienna.

I'm glad he's keeping Vienna around for the hometown show, too. I really want to see where she comes from and how she's like with her dad. I agree that she is way too immature and YOUNG to think about being married.I don't have anything against her; she just needs some time to grow up and mature. I think this next week could ruin it for Vienna.

If Jake still wants Gia after meeting her mother, more power to him. What's the old adage about women looking like their mothers in 30 years? If you've seen the previews, you know what I'm talking about. ;)
