Dry hands Can anyone recommend a good lotion for very dry hands. I have tried almost every lotion and nothing works. My hands are so dry that they crack and bleed. And this cold weather isn't helping! :( |

I like Burt's Bees Almond Milk Hand Cream, the Shea Butter hand repair cream and their Lemon Cuticle Cream . A couple I like from any drug store are Neutrogena and Eucerin (dermatologist recommended). I've used the Zim's stuff before but it wasn't a cream, it was like an oil - messy! Look for ones containing the most shea butter, it's great for dry skin. |

I have extremely dry hands in the winter, if I don't consistently use some combination of the products I suggested. |
I use Yves Rochers' winter hand balm. It's very good for cracking hands & hypoallergenic too. Yves Rocher is an online store that carries perfumes & such as well. |
Ladies!!!!! The best lotion for dry hands that I have found and I have tried a lot of them is the Gold Bond Ultimate! I can (almost) promise it will heal your dry hands. And, if you get the medicated form, it will take the itch away. I love love love love this stuff. It works great in the winter time after shaving so your legs don't get dry and itchy either. It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny and you can get it almost anywhere like walmart or grocery stores. |
I use shea butter and it really helps. Bath and Body works has a body butter that has shea butter in that works well, but when my hands get real bad I use pure Shea Butter. |
Just started using Ahava and it is amazing... cleared up my really dry skin in a few days. |

With so many of you living in the cold weather and the cracking and chapping of your hands this will solve the problem. Kathleen |
I use Curel Ultra healing and love it, I use it on my feet a lot and it makes them so soft. |
I use goats milk lotion. :) |
Working as a nurse and washing my hands all of the time causes dry, cracking, bleeding skin. I have found that Eucerin is the only thing that heals mine. I use the thick stuff in the tub. |
We use Aquaphor. It's used on everything including diaper rash. That's how I originally found it. I would use it at night though as it is thick and a bit "greasy" although that is not the right word to best describe it. I usually put it on with a clean pair of socks (yes, socks) on my hands while I sleep to keep the moisture in. Good luck! |

I use the regular Gold Bond for my hands and during the day. I use the green bottle on my legs after I shave. I get really dry and no matter what I seem to use my legs get dry and itchy. This totally takes care of any razor burn or bumps, and has a cooling soothing feel to it as well as taking care of the dry. They are all non greasy. |
I use the satin hands set from Mary Kay and my hands are always good used to be pretty bad thought especially when it get to like -50 with the wind chill :) |
