Just curious if anybody else on here collects anything??
I have an Alice in Wonderland collection.
I also recently started a "Missy needs a new outfit" collection. :rolleyes:

OMG yes. I collect playbills from Broadway shows. I have hundreds. One of each is hanging on my walls, the rest are in various baskets around my room.

Collectable baby dolls. I used to have about 30 but sold alot. I also love monkeys.

I collect alot of different things untill I dont have anymore room for them around the house and then I quit collecting them. I have a copper collection in my kitchen. I have a small teapot collection. I have a sun and moon collection. I have a barbie collection for my daughter. I have a sea shell collection. I have a plant collection. I love to collect a variety of plants.

I am embarrassed to admit it, but I got caught up in the Beanie Baby explosion several years ago -- after buying hundreds and putting countless miles on my car in search of I can happily say that I am cured. My obsession ended when my son went to Germany -- I sent $$ with him to buy me a Germania and a cuckoo clock from the Black Forest. He was so proud when he told me that he found my Beanie and I was absolutely sick when he told me that he paid $150 American for it. :lol tears And that was then end of my Beanie Baby collecting days. They are all stored away in tubs in the back of my closet, except for my Germania which sits at the top of my closet in a plastic case.

:facepalm:You are not alone chattiesmom! I too was caught in the beanie baby craze. I don't want to know what I spent.:eek: And, oh yea, those precious ty tags that I bought protectors for! :sidesplt: Well, sorry to say those are long gone and my neice has had hours of fun playing with the "collectable" toys.

Now, I collect antiques (I'm obsessed really) and Vera Bradley! Love their styles.

Oh I love antiques as well! But it's not a full blown collections, just a few pieces here and there.

My collection is mostly pirates stuff. I have the Dead Man's chest replica, Jack Sparrow cutlass replica, his compass, I have his cardboard cutout :D Most all the toys, and lots of my furniture is in that 18th c style, reproductions not real antiques.

I also collect all the costumes I've made, mostly Johnny movie related.

And shoes. Vintage mostly that an occasion is never special enough to wear them.

And corsets, that's becoming a collection.

OMG I put hundreds of miles on my car... my daughter was obsessed with them, we would actually drive to stores and wait an hour for them to open to get the one she wanted!! It was crazy... ours are now stored in plastic bins!! Those days were crazy!!!

My older daughter it was those little troll dolls.. she loved them!!
Second daughter Beenie babies and Barbies..
Youngest daughter , American girl dolls , she had 12 with all thier clothes.. we recently sold off most of them , except her first one!

I collect bunny figurines but haven't got them displayed right now.
I also collect rubber duckies. I like them the more different the better, for example I have one that looks like a waitress and many different colors. My main bathroom is decorated in yellow duckies.

I collect dolphins, anything dolphins, I have been trying to learn how to answer things on here plus tell other yorkie lovers about my yorkies. I'm not good on this computer. leona

Were you one of those annoying people who would drive through the drive thu at McD's a million times a day to get the entire collection.:DLOL
I was in college during the ty days and worked at McD's.:thumbdown haha
I would literally have people try to give me thier cell number so I could call them if we opened the next box.!:rolleyes:

I have several obsessions, errr, I mean collectons lol. the most collected are salt and pepper shakers, Mark Roberts fairies and fairies in general and Home Grown figurines.

But my prize collection are my purses...all colors, sizes and styles!!! I am the Imelda Marcos of purses. "I need help!" lol

We used to collect antiques and antique quilts...we had a shop for a couple of years and were addicted to auctions and estate sales. I now have a fairly large collection of antique, American made miniature baskets...like one egg or two egg baskets. I also collect Bears...fully jointed, hand sewn and signed Little Gem Teddies (over 150 of them) and Steiff bears but only the small ones. My husband collects antique padlocks which are hanging on the wall in a custom made display case...they look pretty cool.

As for collecting anything new...purses! I love D&B, COACH, Brighton...etc...and have a closet full of them. Also, Calphalon cookware...the commercial grade stainless steel and their anodized line...I have over 100 pieces. Yah, I know...silly when we go out to eat so much but hey...my kitchen looks good! The big joke here is I dust the stove like the rest of the furniture and I collect cook books and Calphalon!

I cannot begin to tell you how many Happy Meals I purchased for the teeny beanie babies. It was ME!!! And I was way too old to be doing such silly things with my hard earned $$.

I have collected many things over the years but the two I have left are
my Hummel Yearly Plates, have them all and a Steif Bear Collection.
Oh how I loved Teddy Bears. Still do but not so passionate anymore.

ok, I'll admit to Hummel plates (don't have them all) and Hummel figures, Christmas ornaments from each state I have travel to, the state quarters(but I'm starting to spend them) and of course, my valuable collection of screws, nuts, & bolts (you never know when you'll need one)

I love to go to estate sales and look for "old stuff" (not necessarily antiques) that I remember my mother, grandmother or aunts having something like it. A few years ago I was obsessed with collecting Wexford glassware. I have too much to display in a large china cabinet. I have also collected snowmen and santa figurines, but I'm kind of past that now. My obsession these day seems to be yorkie babies.:D

I have so many collections i don't know where to start,I have a doll collection that i haven't seen for years,dept 56 villages,snowbabies,fenton
& others inc. the Thomas Kinkaid Christmas plates hopefully this year will be the last one with it being # 12

I have collected cookie jars,Teapots glassware & endless others things but i am older than most of you so i've had longer to stash Lol

waiting for Jeannie1963 & crew to show up with trash bags :D

I collect dolls from the 50s (mostly, though I have others) and Chihuahua figurines (tiny ones only). My daughter also collects Alice, but she doesn't have that many yet.
