Do you have snow? Okay, so it's December 1st (already)! Do you have snow where you are? I'm wondering how many of you are basking in sunny climes or bracing from blustery snowstorms. We've just enjoyed a relatively balmy November, for Toronto (Ontario, Canada). In fact, what precipitated (no pun intended) this post was that we just broke a weather record for November. This was the first November in over 70 years that we haven't had any snow! Naturally we woke with a slight dusting of it this morning but it pretty much instantly dissolved once the sun warmed up the day. So, how about you? Snow or no snow? ~Susan PS - this is a great information gathering post... if I see a lot of warm tropical breezes as a reply, I'll know who to be envious of! ;) |
I did have snow yesterday and this morning but it has melted now. |
No snow for us yet but its supposed to be very cold Friday |
Nope..... No snow here~~~~, just the warm tropical breezes you were dreaming of. I think it will be 82 degrees today. My furbabies are sunbathing on the patio as I try to think about Christmas shopping. :xmastree1::presents2::santahat: |
We had a light dusting earlier, that's about all I hope to see this winter:p |
OH PLEASE NO SNOW.. :thumbdown |
Not yet Thank God!! |
Wish we could break a record and get some snow, especially for Christmas. :p I'd love to see what my girls would do in it! |
Well you are in Toronto, I'm in London- so we pretty much have the same weather :) We had snow this morning- but it is gone now. Layla was not impressed- i took her outside to play ball and she didnt' want to pick up her ball covered in snow :p what a princess! |
We finally got some snow the other day. I love snow, but hate the cold. Lexi on the other hand LOVES the snow, I don't know what it is but she gets super silly in the snow. |
No! No snow, it hardly ever snows here:( I LOVE SNOW!!!! If I ever move, it's going to be to a place that snows constantly in winter! What I wouldn't give for a white Christmas. |
Just a few flakes yesterday |

No snow in Northern Minnesota. Bummer. |
Were supposed to get some snow tomorow! I just hope this winter isn't as bad as last. I live in Arkansas and we had a HUGE ice storm. No power or water for 3 weeks. We lived off potatoes we cooked on the grill...blech |
Ugh, I am in southern Cali. it's been 80 degrees with Santa Ana winds! *meaning fire danger!* Hate it! It's supposed to rain next week, but well see. I have not been snowboarding in 2 years! This year will be 3 if it doesn't get cold fast! Just when I was getting good too! boo! Cali has no seasons! :thumbdown |
No snow in this part of Europe yet. We had our first snow back in October. It was snowing for a week and it's gone. Hopefully we'll have a white Christmas this year. |
No snow here, but rain and supposed to be in the low 30's by the end of the week. Possible snow showers Fri. We haven't had a decent snow here in like 6 yrs and we live at the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains!!!! Get snow up in the mountains a lot but not here in the valley.I want a white Christmas!!! |
No snow here... We usually only get snow once a year here in December. The whole area shuts down because no one knows how to drive in it! |
No I live in darn Florida. We're hoping to move to either Kentucky or Tennesse next year. Yeah snow! |
No snow here yet and I am not looking forward to it. :( |
We were supposed to maybe see some snow today but so far it hasnt. The longer it doesnt the better to me. I hate winter and the snow and ice. I could move to Florida or somewhere where it doesnt snow and be very happy |
I absolutely love the central CA. coast and would not live anywhere else unless it was on the Mediterranean in Spain. (My most favorite place in the world). I can see snow anytime by driving only 35 miles from here up Figueroa Mt. GORP - Los Padres National Forest - Recreation Areas Southern CA. is just too hot for me. From my area north is beautiful!! I grew up in Charleston, WV. and we had lots of snow every winter. Then married and moved to Cheyenne, WY. for three years. LOTS of snow. Then to Madrid, Spain for three years and was in love. Then to Orlando, FL. for 7 years and nearly froze in the winter. People who had orange groves had to put smudge pots (or choofa pots) by the trees to keep them from freezing. Those winters were bone chilling and felt colder than the WY. winters. Then moved to SD. Again, lots of snow, then to ND, and lots of snow, but temps. in the winter months were unbearable!! I've seen it at 30 below with 100 below wind chill. I'll NEVER go back to that horrible state!! Then we moved to CA. in 1985 and I still feel I'm on a permanent vacation. We dearly love the CA. coast and the red wood forrest. Beautiful! I never want to live in snow country, but may visit it. ;) |

But so far it's been nice in NY |
We've had rain almost everyday for about 2-3 weeks. I don't like snow at all, but seriously, this rain needs to get in check and get back in the season it belongs in. |
Should be shoveling by tomorrow. |
No snow here! |
We may get "snow" on Saturday, according to the news. It has been in the 30's for the last few days, so who knows. Snow in Georgia will shut everything down...and it's always just a few inches!!! I am so use to the amount of New England snow, and love it! :cold smil:snow: |
If I never saw snow again that would not be too soon! I agree that a white Christmas is overrated. |
Would you believe it is snowing right now in southeast Texas. This is a real treat for us. Everything is starting to turn white. We got an inch of snow about this same time last year. So strange, must be the global warming. |
