please pray for my son my son was having a heavy chest today, shortness of breath, he's 35, but given the family history (my other son died at 16 cause unknown/undetermined) they ran a bunch of tests and admitted him into the cardiology unit. My daughter in law just called that the procedure they run the dye through, was done and all clear. Thank God...So now were just waiting to see if it was an asthma issue or what?? Either way that was the longest trip to the hospital in america..........I was soooo scared...Please help me and say prayers that he is ok. I really believe that prayer works and I could use all we can get. Thanks in advance. Linda |

Prayer absolutely works and I will say a special prayer for you and your family. |
Linda, you and your son have my prayers. Don't be afraid. God knows what He is doing. |
praying for your son Linda, I was an EMT for 16 years plus I have been through the same ordeal. I was short of breath and had just kind of a heavy feeling in my chest. I had a cardiac stress test done and was told to go right to the heart hospital. They said I was days away from a major heart attack with a 99% blockage. Even though the cath test with the dye came back clear, ask his doctor to have a stress test done. My cousin had a clear dye cath. but had a heart attack a week later. I do not mean to scare you, but people are having heart problems younger and younger all the time. In these times of medical care, insist that the doctors get to the real cause of the chest heaviness. I've seen to many young people with these problems coming out of no where. Better safe and a pain in the doctors butt then sorry. I will pray for you and your son. Just be strong and insist on the best care. They are our children, no matter how old they are. God bless you all. |
Sending prayers for you and your family. God does answer prayers. |
Oh Linda, I am sorry. I know how scared you must be. I will be praying for him. Keep us posted. Hugs |
I will keep him in my prayers. That had to be so scary for all of you especially after the tragic loss of such a young son. |
Praying for your son. |
Linda, I am praying your son will be okay. I know it is very scary when things like that happen. Hugs. |
Linda, Sending heartfelt Prayers for yr son in hopes that they can find the true cause of his symptoms & get him the care that he needs. Hugs to you & prayers for strength during this scary time. My deepest condolences for the loss of yr other son! |
Thank you all. Your prayers and kind words mean more than you know. They did a cat scan, a stress test, a xray, ekg, and the two different dye tests all came back clear, so theyre thinking it could be asthma or a slight infection in the lungs. They will refer him now to a lung doctor. One good thing is he is in St. Helena Hospt. they are known for their cardiology drs. My DIL is a nurse, she says that if the lung thing turns out then shes going to request an alergy test, where they test you to see what your alergic to. He feels better though after they gave him the breathing treatments so Im relieved. Again, thank you all. |
Linda, I am praying for your son and for only good news! God bless you all. |
Linda, I will be praying for your son and his doctors. How wonderful that your DIL is a nurse and will be able to stay on top of everything. Please keep us updated. |

That's great news that the test came back clear. Will be adding our prayers that all works out. :) |
Linda, glad to read the tests are all coming back clear. However, I do hope they find out what caused him to have labored breathing so it dosen't happen in the furture. Sending good wishes your son's way. |
Linda, I am praying for your son too. I am glad that the tests came back clear. I hope that he finds out the cause soon. Sending you good vibes... |
I'm glad your son is showing improvement but I am sending prayers his way (and your way too). I hope he gets a clean bill of health. |
We are keeping your son and your family in our thoughts and prayers! |
Linda - sounds like you're son is getting the all clear but gonna keep you in my prayers anyways! Keep us posted! |
First, thank each and everyone of you. I was panicked. And I know prayer works so I wanted to get as many as I could going. THANK YOU ALL. They released him today. The tests showed all arteries clear, however, inside it showed small wrinkles, which means he has been having high blood pressure for awhile. They put him on blood pressure med, colestroal (I know thats not spelled right) meds, and gave him a steroid inhaler to use for a month. Doc thinks the blood pressure caused like an anxiety attack. He comes by that natural, his daddy has the same thing. So for now, and hopefully until I die, hes good! Thanks, your prayers, thoughts and well wishes meant so much to me, and I know it helped. If I can ever return the favor........I'll be there! Linda |
that is wonderful news! so glad everything can be controlled by medication. |
