Yep...I honestly have asked people that question because I really was not sure if they were in line. Some people actually DO stand in stores without being in line. I have stood behind them only to find out I was in the wrong place and the right line had gotten longer while I was standing there. I only get upset when someone tries to cut in line. I have no issue with telling someone where the end of the line is. Not sure I understand this thread at all. |
Let me make it clearer for you. When you see a very long line of people that wraps around the store, don't ask where the end of the line is while you are walking by. Just keep walking you will find it!! |
Oh boy get ready, the world is going to explode with stupid people when holiday shopping really picks up! Online shopping is the way to go! :) LOL |

Life is too short for me to get my panties in a wad over someone asking me a simple question. I really honestly do not see anything stupid with such a question; and have no problem assisting people who need it. To each his own. Wishing you a Happy Holiday Season! :) |

Ok I'll end this nonsense with this: How could you mistake a line or a bunch of people standing around? When you are on/in line usually there are people standing behind each other with stuff in their arms that they wish to purchase. I stand by my former comment---the end is when you don't see anyone standing anymore. Just after the last person you see with stuff in their arms standing behind someone else with stuff in their arms. Sorry for venting. I still say some people are idiots and they always manage to find me. As for the Yorkie questions, there are no stupid questions when you are trying to learn how to care for our babies. Just stupid obvious ones!! |
Well, I can honestly say that I have had to ask. Sometimes the lines are really not clear. People tend to gather and talk in line and sometimes it is not that obvious when you walk up. I have also gotten behind someone only to find out that the huge gap behind them was not the end of the line. Someone behind them was not paying attention and was standing way back. Then, I end up embarrassed feeling like they must have thought I was cutting in line. Better to ask! I was not where you were, so who knows. I only know that it is not always clear to me. THen again, I am senile. |
I went to Staples to buy back to school stuff, I thought wow simple no lines. There were about 100 people in the front of the store, I swear it didn't look like a line to me :p Until I walked right up to the register and almost got my a&& kicked :D the lady said don't you see all these people  I said this is a line, she said umm yea  I said thanks, put my crap down and walked out. The point is life is to short to get upset over things like this. I do understand what you mean though. Christmas shopping is really stressful, I used to be a looney :p but now I just have a little patience and try to remember you just never know what the other person is dealing with. It costs nothing to be nice :D |
This line was actually kind of roped off and was going up the aisle. It was very obvious there was a line. I mean I have made this mistake also and stood behind someone who I thought was on line who wasn't...whoops!! But this was clear. It is not just this instance, in general people just ask the dumbest questions sometimes. |
