Well, you guys are the best if no one has told you that today. I am off to my appointment. I really appreciate having someone to talk to. I will let you know what I find out as soon as I can.

Yes,I know the fear,I have it in my siblings,one sister passed last dec.19th.When we found out she had it,she lived 5 weeks,I have gone thru pet scan and am still being tested for nodules that ar benign,I think everyone worries about cancer,it is definetly scary,but you will be fine,you have found it early.God bless you and stay healthy.

Quick update. I went to the doctor and he is sending me to a surgeon. I am waiting for the insurance to clear the referral so that I can go as soon as possible. He didn't want to do a mammogram due to the implants and my age, I'm only 34. He said that the surgeon could do an ultra sound and get a better look at it than he could. So, now I wait some more.

I'm hoping your test go well today. You may not find out anything definite today but hopefully you'll find out something that will ease your mind. I think when I had mine they did an ultrasound first and then scheduled me for surgery so they could biopsy it. Since I've had a similar experience you can pm me if you have any questions or if you just need someone to talk to.

Just dropping in to see how you're doing. I'm happy your Dr is on top of things. Remember, even if they want to do a biopsy - it doesn't mean you have cancer. Sending you positive thoughts and a lot of prayers.

Best of luck, waiting and not knowing is the hardest part. My Mom is a 3x cancer survivor. Two times with breast cancer. She's been "clean" now for well over 10 years.

Do your best to maintain a positive mindset.

I just got a call from the surgeon's office. I have a mammogram/ultrasound/and possible biopsy scheduled for Wednesday and a follow up visit with the surgeon on Friday.
