I want to move away So I want to move away from New York...where should i go?? any suggestions?? |
If you want a job, don't move to Michigan. lol City or country? Hot or cooler? What kind of environment do you prefer to live in? |
well i will need a job lol Somewhere warm...city or country...i love nature but i dont like to be too isolated from ppl lol |
Minnesota is nice, at least the Minneapolis/St Paul area. If you like snow, the Duluth area is good for it. There are a lot of lakes up here so summers are fun. If you like winter sports, Northern Minnesota is great. |
I love the Gulf coast. The weather is not bad, although it does get hot in the summer, but at least no snow and ice. I love being by the ocean, lots to do here. The cost of living is really good, housing is getting so cheap it's ridiculous (especially for someone wanting to sell a big house and downsize!). Jobs are a little difficult though. There are jobs, but they do not pay well. I think it evens out with the COL though. |
Arizona, Tennessee |
I've always wanted to live in Colorado, I fell in love with it as a child! We went there on a family vacation and I've dreamed of going back! If I lived in another country, it would be somewhere in Europe! Ireland, Italy! |

I've heard great things about Tennessee. As much as I want OUT of Maryland -- I shouldn't complain too much. It's actually pretty nice. I live on 3 acres of land in a "country" house yet we're 10 minutes away from Annapolis, 45 minutes from Baltimore and Washington, DC, really close to the water (Chesapeake Bay), also have mountains, we've really got a ton to do here. I think I just don't take advantage of it, LOL. I'm specifically in Davidsonville. I LOVE South Carolina but it can get hot in the summers, etc which I don't think I could deal with. If I had the guts, I'd SO move out West. It's just *so* far though, I don't know if I could get myself to do it. |
Oh, please come to Seattle. I't is so beautiful here and we have everything, water, mountains, desert in Eastern Washington and Canada is just 1 and a half hours away. I love Vancouver and Whistler. Great music, restaurants and anything you could ever want to do or see. Most people who move away always end up coming back and there's a good reason for that. We have it all and even though the focus on the rain, most times it is only a sprinkle and few people who live here actually own an umbrella!!!! |
