Never been, LOL, so I guess I shouldn't judge. But I've heard so many not-so-great things about Los Angeles.

Cali is expensive but not as expensive as NY... it depends on where u wanna live... in the city like L.A. or Hollywood it will be expensive, but if ur willing to live a little further out, it will be cheaper. I was born and raised in L.A. and ive never had the desire to wanna move elsewhere!!! its so diverse here but very laidback too. If u come to visit, let me know. Ill tell u some places to go checkout. Plus, u will def need a car in cali. Even to go grab a quick bite to eat usually requires a car.... well thats ireland out lol!! rain rain rain and maybe 2 weeks off sun a year and even that would be cold to u all at 24 c at the highest , but beautiful country, and friendly people. and they love to party.my dream would be australia ...:thumbup:

I LOVE Seattle too! My brother lives there and I was just there a couple of weeks ago! It is beautiful, great restaurants, etc.. I don't even mind the rain!
What I don't like is your traffic!
Here in Cincinnati we have traffic during rush hours and the rest of the time it's easy to get around, there you have it any time of the day!
Otherwise, I love it and there is always something interesting to do!

I second the vote for Texas. Dallas has a good economy still. Lots of area's to choose to live, from city, country, suburbs or small towns. Jobs are available, lots and lots of activities depending on what you like to do. We occasionally get snow, and we have enough 'cold' weather that the kids get to wear their cute winter clothes. :p We have dog parks, dog friendly restaurants & stores, shopping galore & many YT'ers live in the area. And don't even try to take a Texans car away. :eek:;) They've been trying to get mass transit to succeed here, but it's been an uphill battle. Us Texans loves our trucks...errr...cars...errr...vehicles :rolleyes: But if Dallas isn't your scene there are many other city/towns in Texas that offer a wide variety of lifestyles.

Sarah are you serious? California is the bomb, we have everything, snow Tahoe, Mountain (sierras), beaches, Hollywood (stars), North of Cali is beautiful lost of redwoods, the Coast wow, and of course San Diego close to the border, can you tell I love Cali lol:D

I vote for Mississippi. It really IS the Hospitality State. But if I were gonna live anywhere else it would be Fort Worth, TX. I lived there for a year during grad school and I LOVED it. If fact, if I hadn't missed my family so much I would probably still be there!
