I've got Servicemaster coming in today - they always sort out my 'little problems'!!!! x |
I had one 2 years ago that I've been paying for ever since. I was walking out of my apartment with Harley into the elevator area, and noticed the cleaner was washing the floor, I saw the mop, the caution sign, and I grabbed harley into my arms cause I didn't want him to lick the floor and chemicals. So the cleaning lady hit the elevator button, and when she saw me, she backed off to let me go first, well the door was closing and I didn't want to miss the elevator, so I dashed to get it, and ofcourse slipped on the wet floor. I slid knee first into the door frame of the metal elevator, and killed my knee. harley was safe in my arms the whole time, thank god, but the knee has never been the same. |
Oh, ouch!! :( Dead knee...didn't it make you want to cry a little bit? Things never get back to normal after stuff like that, do they? |
Oh man Kendra! I just got off crutches! I was carrying my little blind shih tzu down three stairs and stepped off the middle one. I could have broken my fall if I had dropped Cassie but NO WAY! I landed on my foot bruising it from toe to heal, sprained my ankle and evidently did some ligament damage. OMG it hurt! The foot was in the tip toe position and I landed straight down on the heel. The saddest thing is that we have been talking about replacing those steps since we move in three years ago! On top of that my dh fell down them a week before I did. Would anyone care to contribute to my stair replacement fund? |

Since she is evidently not going to post her freak accident - Here is a link to Ann's story (Wileysmom). http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...1-shes-ok.html I keep telling her she can come live with me here in Illinois where there ARE NO SCORPIONS! Prior to this Ann's husband was hospitalized with a bad reaction to a sting and later Wiley was almost stung. Is it any wonder Ann reacted the way she did? I'm sorry Ann - just HAD to post this! |
