The worst year of my life
 
HI. I have been missing for awhile. This has by far been the worst year of my life. Oh where to start. Well, in Feb my brother in law was killed in a car accident. He was only 21 and had just gotten married in December. His passing was really hard on the whole family. If only I had known then that it would just get worse.

August 16th 2009 I was at home with the kiddos. I got a knock on the door. It was the Oklahoma State Troopers. They were here to inform me that my husband was in an accident at work and didnt make it. He drove a tanker truck. He was taking a curve and the load shifted throwing him off the road. The truck flipped. The cab came apart from the trailor flipping the cab again. He was pinned under the truck for 45 min. befor they could get it off of him. He was gone on impact. We were highschool sweetheart and have 3 kids together 10,9, and 6. They are doing better than I thought they would be. Me on the other hand, not as good. Today was a month since the accident and it hit me pretty hard. Im doing my best to keep my head up for the kids but its not easy.

I am sorry to hear of your difficult year. :(
I wish there was something more I can say other than I am thinking of you and this
difficult time. Loss is never easy but especially when it's two untimely deaths. Way
too young. I lost my little 5 year old brother in 2006 and I know that one month after
his death, I was in a terrible position, so I can only imagine what you're going through.

I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you. Stay strong for your kids they need you.
No words can comfort you, but only time will do it.

I am so sorry for the losses you have suffered this past year, especially the loss of your husband, the father of your children and your soulmate. I understand the depth of that loss all too well. I will add you and your precious children to my prayers.

Thank you everybody for the kind words. As if I dont have enough on my plate, I just relized that my one year old yorkie may be preg. by my daughters mutt. *sigh* like I need this right now

You must feel as though your heart has been ripped out and stomped flat. I wish that I had words to ease your pain. Know that all of us who visit Yorkie Talk care about the agony you are suffering. If we had the power, we would turn back time and write a happy year for you and your family.

From one Okie to another Okie...I am so sorry about your heartache. I can't imagine your pain but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. As hard as it may be, stay strong for you kiddos. Oh my gosh sweetie... oh my gosh. My heart just broke for you. I am sending you some strength, courage, wisdom and lots of hugs. Whenever I'm having a really hard time (which is NOTHING compared to what you're going through) I repeat the Serenity prayer in my head over and over again until I can calm down. I'm not religious at all but for some reason this prayer helps me tremendously.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. (((HUGS)))

wow I'm so sorry for your loss .. how hard that must be i can not imagine how hard this is for you and the kid's !! I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and your children. It's going to be tough for awhile but you will get through it for your kids and with your kids. Hold on tight to each other. Thanks for the reminder that life can change in an instant. Cherish the ones you love.
