Ladyjane -- Hope George is going to be okay! My Jack Russell started throwing up the other day and then I saw where she had jumped up on the table and got the Chicken Jerky tenders and made a pig of herself! I was really worried she would wind up with pancreatitis. Evidently a JR has a stronger GI system than a yorkie. She just threw up several times and barely slowed down at all. She is usually pretty good about staying down, but I guess she really wanted those treats!

I can't believe someone tattled and Admin had to shut down the other thread. They usually do not step in unless someone makes a complaint. But someone made a whole new thread to complain about that one. :( Ah well, if someone cannot resist the temptation to open a thread they do not like, I guess it is not their poor little fault. It might be a case of diminished capacity for resistance. I think you are supposed to sugar-coat everything for folks with DCR. I know you should never be mean or nasty, or honest for that matter. good morning all, had a pleasant sleep, a rough outta the ordinary routine morning with both me and DH going to work early and Sadie going ballistic, she wont' go potty outside when the ground is wet the little poop head...and then i think she was a little overwhelmed because both mommy and daddy did their work routines at the same time and she knows well enough that when dad gets ready he's leaving her alone and i'm always up every morning getting ready so she's used to me, but he never has to put on work clothes until it's time for him to go out and she knows she's left alone then...

do they always cry when being put in their x pen for the day...or will she eventually get used to it and grow out of the whole barking/whining routine??

i hate leaving her like that, but she's not reliable to have to house to herself yet and she's got her crate, bed, pee pads, and water and even a little handful of kibble and toys and i turn on the radio for her all day...it's only 8 hours today...but usually she's only alone for 3
