What Phone Do You Love?
 

Finally, I am up for an upgrade and ready to replace my phone. Actually, I needed to replace my palm a while back and have been using one of my son's old Razors. I do not think I would use the internet on my phone like he does. So even though I like his Blackberry Curve, not sure I would use all the features. I really need a regular phone, but one with a good camera would be nice too. I have AT&T.

So, if you love your phone, let me know! I need some referrals here. So many choices and they all look great in the phone place. I would like to hear how folks really like the phone they use. If you have a data plan, do you use it? I think I would have loved the feature back when I worked, but they were not attainable back then. Now, just not sure if I would get online while out and about. It took me forever to even think I needed a cell phone though and now I can't imagine not having one.

Any and all input appreciated. If there is one you really do NOT like, that would be good to know too! Thanks in advance!

I have the blackberry pearl and LOVE it.
but since you dont really use the internet, you wouldn't want it more than likely. My dad has a sony ericson walkman i do believe and he really likes it, I've used it before and it was a good phone.

I don't think it will help, but I love my iPhone. I had a treo before and the HTC and this is by far my favorite. At first I didn't use mos of the features but now I do. I use the net all the time, GPS and maps the most. If you need an app you can download most of them right then and there. Oh and it is awesome to have an iPod in it too. :) As a nurse I can download medications and a bunch of other things and use it at work.

I love my Iphone, before it I never care about a cell, i just use to call and recive calls, actually i had a nokia that my dogs destroyed, they kind of ate the keyboard and then i was using a bar straw to dial numbers and i keept it for a while like that, cuz i did not care about anything but call and recive..........them my bf got me an Iphone and I just started living:p that phone is amazing, ok is not a phone is a mini laptop that fits perfect and have and amazing camera, no flash but i think the new one has it and you can buy about everything in the app store, i love it!!

If you get an iphone, do you have to sign up for the data plan?

My bf actually bougth the phone for $600, unlock ,so i am using t mobile with pay as you go, i dont have a contract, cuz we paid for the phone already, if you get it with a contract, you have to pay around $200 and sign up for a 2 years agreement, so i was told

Yes, you do have to have a data plan and I never had a data plan because I never thought I would use it, but now that I have it, I don't know how I got by without! It is 30 bucks a month (I think)...and now the iPhones are only like $100!

I have the blackberry curve like your sons. l debated and debated with myself before l finally brought it. l'm really happy with it because my daughter has the iphone and we have the mobile to mobile with at&t. l use the internet to cruise all the different email l get from the places l shop adn l text alot now.

I have a blackberry and like it but I love My Husbands Iphone. It does everything. It is an amazing phone.

I don't have the iphone but i love it and i want it!! Everyone i know that has one, i looked thru theirs and its so cool!

LOVE my iphone. It's perfect, easy to use, and has everything! I will never get another phone!

OK.. I have to add my vote for the iphone.. I had a Samsung epic and I absolutely hated it.... it is supposed to be like the blackberry but the keyboard is too small and the letters on the keys are too small and hard to read and worst of all because it had a touch screen everytime I hung up after a call I would have tons of applications running that started because of my cheek touching the screen while talking. AT&T has a GREAT deal on the iphone and I am SO happy with mine. They have thought of everything.

I love my iphone!!! I would be lost without it.

I ran in to my mom's house the other day to go to the bathroom and had it in my hand. Well... I dropped it in the toliet.. yes..yes I did. I started screaming to top of my lungs. I got it out dried it off and put it in a bag of rice...2 days later it came on and has been working since. I did cry for 2 days though.. I didn't know how I was going to get a new one and since usning the iphone I didn't want to go back to anything else.

I absolutely LOVE my iPhone! I was always one of those people that thought the iPhone was sooo overrated. WRONG! I'm in love, my phone is never farther than 5 feet away from me, lol. There is literally an app for everything, whether it's entertainment related (a lot of fun useless games that help me pass time) or business related (sooo many apps for your banking, and everything business-related) It's just an all around awesome phone. And I love the fact that when new things come to the iPhone, you don't have to buy a WHOLE new phone, you simply upgrade your software and it adds all the new features for you. :) And some don't like the $30 data plan monthly but it's so worth it to me. Blackberry has the $30 data plan charge too but I feel like I get sooo much more out of the iPhone than the BB (I used to have the Curve and swore by it, not no more! lol) It really is an amazing phone. The ONLY thing I'm still waiting on (AT&T's fault) is the SMS picture messaging. The only way you can send a picture to another phone is through email. But that's supposed to be arriving "late summer."

I hate EVERY touch screen phone that's ever existed, minus the iPhone. The touch screen is just amazing.

I too LOVE my iPhone!!! I just got the 3GS about a week ago since our contract ended with Sprint. I had a Red Upstage with them and I had a hard time parting with it. I sold it and bought my 3GS. We were approved for 3 lines sowe each have a 3GS. Me, hubby, and my 15 yr. old son. I never had a data plan with my other phone like I do with this one. I am writing this from my 3GS. It is really handy! I have an App. for my bank so I always know how much I have. Games galore as well!

I have the HTC Touch. It is a Windows Mobile phone, access to YT and shopping!!

The iPhone is the answer to all of my personal & business needs...couldn't function without it! :D

I love my BlackBerry Curve dearly but there are days when I regret having the data plan. I love being able to check my e-mails wherever I am though... I'm torn. There are lots of days where I wish I had just a plain jane phone.

I'm sure this didn't help you at all but I thought you might like to know anyway, haha!

That is what I am afraid of -- getting one that requires a data plan and then never using it. I think I want just a plain phone, but they all have extras now. And I do want a good camera. And maybe all those I-phone apps would come in handy......:confused:

I would like the Blackberry Storm but AT&T does not have it. My son really wanted that phone. His middle name is Storm so it would have been something else to have a phone named that too. But he got the Curve instead. Which he loves! In fact, he got his wet and we bought another Curve from a YT member here -- a lifesaver!

I have never heard so many people loving one phone in particular as they have the I-phone. I may just have to give it a try. I have promised my son that I will get one this next week. The one I am using turns itself off all the time. He is tired of me not answering when he calls. So, right now.....I think it is going to be the I-phone. I will let everyone know what I end up with. When i tcomes to phones, I hardly ever wind up coming home with what I set out to get. We'll see!

I think you're making a good decision :thumbup: Hope you like it if you get it. Also, remember, I think you have 15-30 days to return a cell phone for another if you happen to not like the phone, so just give it a try!

I really want to get an Iphone. I am not due for an upgrade for a few months but I was captivated by the display model at BestBuy! I have an EnV2 now and it is okay but I am in love with all the apps. Did anyone here have any problems getting their phones with Verizon? Where did you buy your phones? Where they unlocked already? I have told dh I want my yorkie and my iphone for my birthday and Christmas.
