Can you believe I didn't watch Young Frankestein until about a year ago.

I love Wonka candy, especially after seen Mr. Depp in his Chocolate Factory :D

Love that scene! Have you ever seen the "making of Young Frankenstein" behind the scenes program? Hilarious! It's on the DVD. Gene Hackman begged to be in the movie, so he was given the role of the blind man -- and he ad-libbed the line as Frankenstein is running away, "Where are you going? I was just about to make cappuccino!" LOL!

Have you seen El Mariachi? Johnny wasn't in it, but it was the 1st part of the trilogy. (El Mariachi, part 1; Desperado, part 2; Once Upon a time in Mexico, part3) anyway.... Danny Trejo was in it. He had short hair then. Love Robert Rodriguez. :) (Planet Terror was WAY better than Death Proof!)

With the limited selection of DVDs to rent, I went digging in my own collection this week and pulled out "Chocolat." I could listen to Johnny say "I'll come around some time and get that squeak out of your door" a million times. :D

The man is now in Hawaii shooting Pirates IV: Pictures of Johnny Depp in Hawaii With Kids Jack and Lily-Rose

My Yorkie boys are wearing scrunchies the same color as JD's bandanna this week. Pure coincidence.

I was shopping at Target last night and ran across "21 Jumpstreet" in the DVD section. Couldn't resist. Watched the first episode last night and nearly overdosed on the cheesiness -- loved it. :p

You know what's funny is I saw on FB it was his bday, but didn't post here bc I didn't think this thread had much interest.

I watched a bit of 21 jumpstreet on you tube recently. (OMG before I proofread i typed 21 humpstreet! No lying!!!!) Watched Babyface too that movie is too funny!

And in case they take away the link, below is the info...

It seems that What's Playing has obtained and revealed some inside information about the opening scene for Pirates On Stranger Tides. There is no pictures or videos of this scene but it is a pretty detailed description so stop reading now if you would rather not know.
The scene opens at night. Spanish fisherman spots something in the water. A Shape. He fishes out what he soon discovers is the body of an ancient sailor. The boat’s captain rushes over for a look – - before he can make his assessment, the thought-dead sailor’s eyes open. Sailor grabs Captain’s arm… fade out.

The Captain and his aide then arrive at the regal residents of King Ferdinand, with said body, who inform the royal that the not-so-dead sailor claims to have sailed on a vessel belonging to the ship of Ponce de Leon, who died 200 years ago. Ferdinand’s first thought is that the sailor has found the legendary Fountain of Youth. He orders ‘The Spaniard’ to hit the seas in search of it.
