YT Addict | I need ideas! Ok. My boyfriend and I have been together almost 6 years now. We wanted to wait until we both graduated from college to get married. Well, we will graduate in May 2010. So... we are going to get married. I won't have a lot of money for this, so I need to have something small. The guest list will only be in the mid 20's, consisting mainly of his family and some of mine. I really like the idea of a tea party wedding... but his family doesn't really fit that scene. Do any of you have any ideas for a small wedding? I need food ideas, themes maybe, and places to have it. Oh, and I think we will probably be married in the courthouse, so really I guess I just need ideas for the after party.

| Hi there! How about a vintage theme? "Southern Belle" type dresses... lace, ribbon, & bows. Sweet tea, petite samdwiches, pretty salads, a traditional wedding cake (and grooms cake, too!). Some of the most beautiful weddings that I have been to have been small & simple. Good Luck to you!!! Can't wait to hear what you decide to do!

| We wanted the same thing, really small. We went with a local boat (Betsy Ann River Boat Riverboat | Cruises | Paddle Boat | BestyAnn | Panama City | Beach | Family Fun | Comedy Zone | Dinner ) and they did everything for us. The cool thing was that as a Captain, the Captain/Owner of the boat could marry us. We had the ceremony at sunset and then cruised the Bay for our reception. Check to see if there is any hidden treasure like that in your area.
