Is your ring finger size the same size as your shoe size? So my mom,my sister, and I were looking at rings because my mom lost her ring at a soccer feild a few years ago. My mom and my sister both wear a size nine in shoes. They both came across size 9's (for your ring finger). And it was like a perfect fit! So then, I wear a size 11 in shoes (yea, I know, I have huge feet.) and found this to be funny, so I tried on a size 11. And bingo, it fit:D. So I was just wondering if that works for anyone else? Or maybe my family is just weird? Probably the last one:p |
Nope... I wear between a size 8 1/2 and 9 for shoes and the same for rings! LOL |

I wear a 6.5 shoe and a 6-7 ring. The other day we went and had my FI measured for his wedding band, and sure enough...size 14 ring, size 14 shoe! :D I think you may be on to something! |
I think I wear a 6 or 7 size ring and an 11 in shoes. Way off for me! :p |

Shoe size the same as your RING finger.... like the finger your wedding ring goes on??? No way.... my foot is about a 7.5 and my wedding ring is a size 3.5 or 4. It was a 3 when we got married but I've had my ring resized after having kids. |
Seeing as though I can't even get my wedding ring on anymore, I would have to say no they aren't the same size. |
Actually you're not wierd....your shoe size, ring size, and hat size are usually all the same. something else interesting...if you hold your arms out stretched from the shoulder...measuring fingertip to fingertip will equal your height. |

I don't know my ring size off hand, but a neighbor who used to yard sale for clothes all the time taught me a trick. She would hold the waist of shorts or pants around her neck and if it reached all the way around with a little extra to hold onto it would fit her waist. I think that only works if your average weight though. |

I've never heard this before!!!!! Doesn't even come close for me - my ring finger is a 6 1/4 on the left, 6 3/4 on the right and I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in a shoe. My daughter wears a 6 1/2 or 7 shoe and her ring finger is a 4!!!!!!!! |

My ring size is a 5.5 and my shoe size is an 8. I believe I am two inches shorter on the holding your arms out to equal your height... my husband and I measured that awhile ago... his was equal to his height... mine was off... so now I use the excuse that "my arms are too short, could you reach that for me??!!" ;) |
hmmm....not anymore! It's really bizzare - for the longest time it matched - I had size 10 shoe and size 10 finger (yes my fingers are sausages haha). Then one time I went shoe shopping...I was down to a 9 1/2 shoe. Now I'm at 8 1/2-9. It's confusing. haha. Not that I'm whining - it's easier to get cute shoes in smaller sizes =P |
Mine don't match up. I can fit 4/4.5/5 for ring but the latter would be a tad too loose. My band's a 4.5 and it still slides off, and if I tried at times, I can even "fling" it off--depending on the season. LOL. Shoe size has forever been a US 6. Though I have had some 5.5 types fit me (sneakers), but with some healed/pointed dress shoes/pumps, I go higher only because I have wide feet. :p I believe my arm length might have matched my height when I measured it many years back. Might have shrunk since then. :p Still 5' 5" and two millimeters now. :) Wow, so my height almost matches up to shoe size in numbers! :cool: |

Not even close for me. I have skinny fingers, 4.5 left hand and 5 right hand and big feet- 9 1/2. I'm really tall though so that's how I justify my feet.:p |
No i wear size 6 ring finger and my shoes are size 7. At one point it was size 7 but i think it changes if you gain or lose weight, whereas i dont think your feet size change |
