Very weird thing happened this A.M.
 
OK I think THE weirdest thing happened to me today. I was walking with my bf and this guy stopped us. I thought he was going to ask for directions cause he had an accent but then he goes 'Excuse me but what country is this?' i didnt even answer cause i was just thinking did he really just ask that. Then he goes 'i am from sky, i am an alien, please tell me what country this is' At that point my bf pulled me to go cause i was just standing there confused LOL But it was just SO weird and then he was like 'ok have a nice day' when we left, he was really nice just WEIRD and eire:confused:

He was older...prob around 60, was walking on crutches and shorts, his legs were all red from bruises or something. He wasnt a homeless man tho i dont think...i know its ny..and with that we get a lot of crazy ppl on drugs but he didnt seem to be on drugs

Maybe he has Alzheimer's... my mom asks the weirdest questions too... or he had an accident and suffers from amnesia....

If he was in his 60s, and an English language learner, could he have meant alien as in "foreigner"? We use the term "illegal alien" all the time, but if he was here legally, he might have left that off.

Are you close to an airport? My first thought was someone who has traveled all his life but has early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia.

Poor guy. :( I would check with the local police and see if anyone fitting that description is missing.

No im not close to an airport at all, i dont know how he meant alien but he pointed to the sky and said he came from there lol i was wondering too why he asked country and not planet but then again maybe he visits earth a lot and just stops at random locations w/o knowing the countries:eek::p

Yesterday something funny happened to me also but just shows again how we do have very weird ppl here. I was getting off the train and calling my friend and this guy, appeared to be a homeless man was walking in front of me and dropped something which almost fell in the tracks. He was being loud and obnoxious then he turned to me and said 'that was close right' i heard him but i didnt answer cause i was leaving my friend a message. So then he got soooo mad lol He started cursing and yelling 'idk why i talk to these dumb fu**s, you ask them something and they just stare at you, f'ing bit**' anyway he was so rude but what can you expect, we get that here often so i just started laughing cause im used to seeing things like that. BTW my friend heard him on her voicemail, thats how loud he was..she was like wth was that LOL

You really could of had a lot of fun with that . . .I would of asked him exactly what planet he was from and then questioned him about his injuries . . .after all, maybe he is a "fallen" alien and was kicked off his spaceship . . .;) :D

At least he was speaking English and not Alien . . .:thumbup: :p

Sounds either like Alzheimers, or perhaps someone who was from a mental health group home. Breaks my heart.
During the Reagan years, which is probably before your time; during his inauguration the police rounded up all the homeless and mentaly challenged who were out living on the streets and jailed them so that the visiting dignitaries would not see them. It was extremely disturbing for all of us who lived in D.C. They should have been cared for properly.
