| Wanna laugh/experation date Something, I think, bit me during my sleep. I have a bright red spot, the size of your fist on my right side of my back. It burns alittle. Thinking a spider bite, yuk, never saw one around but who know's. I tried useing neosporin, dosen't work so I got the alcohol bottle out. Experation date reads 10/96 price on the bottle say's .25 and the store no longer exists around here. Where does the time go? It still smelled like alcohol so I used it. I guess it's time to buy a new bottle |

| Sounds familiar! That happens to me all of the time. lol! The weirded experience I had was with canned condensed milk....it was so old that it went bad! Who knew?? Hope your bite gets better soon. Go get it looked at if it continues to bother you. You posted about Lime disease before, so be careful!

All joking aside, I thought of the samething! I do see a bite mark in the center, I think. That would be some kick in the butt worrying about Buddy getting Lymes and I have it! I am going to the pharmacy later to ask the pharmasist for a product to use on bites. Not better by tomorrow I guess the doc would be the next step. | |

| I had a spider bite on my eye lid one time and it completey swelled up. I went to see a dermatologist and she gave me some cream to rub on and it went away a few days later. I don't remember exactly what the cream was called as it was 10 yrs ago when this happened. I'm hoping the swelling will go down in a few days. BTW, I just threw out a whole bunch of expiring medications...what a waste...too bad they can't have a shelf-life of 20-30 yrs.

| Watch the spot on your back very closely. My step-daughter was bit a few months back by what they suspect was a brown recluse spider and she had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics and pain medicine. It left a big hole in her leg and took forever to heal. The same thing happened years ago to my ex mil. She was bit in her bed by a black widow spider. I pray your bite heals quickly. |

| Be VERY careful with the bite. One of the worst infections that my son ever had was an infection of the puncture from a bug bite. He had a simple bug bite on the top of his hand that got red and inflamed an started swelling. Took him to the doctor and he wound up on a powerful antibiotic - he has a congenital heart defect which made matters even more serious. |

| I had my daughter look at it and she said it was hard to see anything but inflamation but she thinks there is a tiny mark at the top of the redness. I guess that's a good thing because it's not a bulls eye. I just bought cortaid for bites and rashes. I'll give it a try today and see how that works or to the doc I go. It hurts and looks really bad. I really think it was a spider because from what I have heard they can really leave their mark. I have not seen one tho. Maybe it died after it bit me Thanks for all your input. I know some spider's are very poisonous but in NY I don't think we have those kind. I will let you know. |
