I've also noticed that in certain parts of the country I get different things. Here in CA it's such a melting pot, but in Miami, I always get japanese. There are hardly ANY asians there! I was surprised. |
I've got yet another after taking Tucker for a walk. People who think they're all-that-and-then-some just because they've got money. I don't mean to say all wealthy people are like this at ALL, but the ones who live in the development behind me are. It's very annoying and insulting. |

I'm half yellow/half white. I'm a twinkie. :D Hmm in San Antonio I usually get Mexican, but I guess that makes sense since there are so many here. Everywhere else I've visited in the US I usually get Asian, and many of them actually say Korean, which is surprising. (Although Oklahoma is an exception as well. Sometimes I felt like I was probably the first Asian some of them had ever seen.) Perhaps it's because North Korea has been making such a positive name for itself recently. |

Here are just a few of my pet peeves: I am sure I have more...LOL~! People that don't use coasters. People who blame anything but themselves for THEIR failure. People who sit next to you on public transportation even when there are other seats available. People who read out loud what they're typing in an email or letter. Kids who tease dogs through a fence. (I adore kids, but this really urks me) People who drink directly out of the milk/orange juice containter. Being asked my telephone number/account number AFTER I already entered in using the keypad on my phone. I thought I was supposed enter that info to "better assist me". :thumbdown When somebody tosses something toward a garbage can, like they think they're a basketball star, then leave it on the ground after they miss! People who take forever to order food while I'm in line. People who clear their throats in a disgusting way. People that pop and smack their chewing gum. People who write "Keep in touch!" in your yearbook but never talk to you again. When you have an itch on the bottom of your foot and you can't scratch it because you have shoes on.:p Drivers who signal after they make a lane change. People who spell "you're" as "your." People who buy animals, only to get rid of them a week later because it was harder to take care of them than they thought. :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown A dirty stove top. When finished cooking, all food particles should be cleaned off the stove. |

She does look Asian, but I don't think I look like her. And you would think my own people (or half of my own people lol) would know better! Although, if I weren't me I might not know what I am ... except I have a big head and Koreans are known for big heads. So really, who knows? :D And to make this post somewhat valid to the thread: I hate it when people have really bad breath. |
Blowing ones nose at the dinner table. It seriously makes me want to throw up. Is it that hard to walk away from the table to blow your nose?? Everyone knows better at my house, but going out to a restaurant I will see it occasionally. I do not get easily grossed out usually, but that one really does it for me! |

My best friend in high school was half Korean. She was so embarassed by it :( I don't know why for sure, no one picked on her or anything. I know she was jealous of her sister because her sister was very small framed and looked hawaiian and my friend had a larger frame and was not built as feminine. I always had wished she wasn't so ashamed of her race. She was SO smart and she was very pretty, she just didn't look like her sister. She had a super sweet and supportive family yet she was so insecure all the time. I just loved her sweet Korean mom. She always called me "Mindie-girl". Sorry I went off topic...just brought back that memory for me. I was always so jealous of her hair...what I would give to have hair like hers!! |

Keeping with the theme: I hate how having "asian face" makes it hard to find sunglasses that fit!!!! My eyeballs touch everything!!! I hate how even though my bf is 100% asian he has a high nose bridge and browbones, and cheekbones!!! arrrrgh!!! |
