What a sad and tragic life. All that money and fame but no happiness and empty. Very Talented...SOO Sad. I had the jackson 5 posters on my wall as a teen..... |
What a shock! Very sad! |
what a shock! personal life aside... Michael was a musical legend & his music will live on forever. R.I.P.:( Michael was so eccentric but I could always see and appreciate his incredible talent. His talent made a the world a better place for a lot of people. It's a sad day for people like me who love and appreciate his music. I am so shocked and sad. I was a fan of Michael's for most of my life. I have seen him in person four times - once in Madison Square Garden where the Jackson Five reunited the week of September 11th. |
i was born in 1982, same year thriller came out. In my baby book, you know those pages about 'babies favorite"? well as favorite music mine says Michael Jackson heh :) gotta love him. when i was 6 or 7 me and my best friend used to watch the thriller video over and over and over again. had the dance memorized, and probably still do LOL He did so much for music and will continue to do so in the future. RIP Michael. We love you |
RIP Michael Jackson......... and heartfelt symathy to his family and all that were close to him. |
RIP Michael. I just can't believe he's gone. He's an icon, we grew up on MJ's music! I just really hope the public refuses to consume the media that does not respect his kids at this horrible time in their lives! |

A great experience:thumbup: He was a awesome performer and no one can ever knock that. |
This is so sad. I had the Thriller album on record when I was kid. It was awesome! It folded open and there was a picture of him with baby tiger. I loved it. How tragic. |
CNN just recieved confirmation from the L.A. coroner. He was a sick man, both physically and mentally. But you can't deny that the man could make music! The radio station here is playing Michael Jackson songs, one after the other. Each song is AMAZING! My heart goes out to his three children. Regardless of what others thought of him...he was their daddy. |

What a Day My heart is breaking wide open today. I was watching a documentary on Farrah earlier today and was mourning the passing of this beautiful woman, but I took some comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is now among the real angels. As for Michael, his death hit me like a ton of bricks. I am in total shock and am heartbroken. This man was so talented and such an icon. I REALLY think it is disrepectful of the media to hark on his past legal problems today of all days...I changed that channel... We all should remember that he was acquitted of all charges. Yes, he became eccentric in his later years but with all the pressure and public scrutiny the man has been under, since he was a child, it is not surprising. I'm not sure too many of us would turn out "normal" in similar circumstances. I will always remember and love Michael for his music that became a part of the soundtrack of my life. I will mourn for him and pray for his family, especially his children. The world has lost a great talent. I am watching MTV, who are playing M.J. videos, and the tears can't help but come while seeing this man in his glory days...such talent! He was only 50 with a world tour on the horizon...he already sold out Wembley Stadium before the tour even began, no small feat. The man may have been on the verge of one heck of a comeback but we'll never get the chance to know. Regardless, he will always be the King of Pop. R.I.P. Michael...thanks for the music and the memories! Dance and sing among the angels now! :angel2dl: Much love to you  |
Now reports are coming in that an investigation is being opened up about his death by the LAPD. This is all so sad. |
MJ My heart goes out to his family! We lost a true icon! love you thriller |
Michael Jackson was an icon, a living legend, a part of my childhood. He will definitely be missed. How sad this happened -- 2 icons on one day. Sad day in entertainment! I envisioned him living for many years. I got chills all over(still do). He was definitely a pioneer and ahead of his time. He went through a lot of trials and tribulations in his life. May he and Farah Fawcett rest in peace. May they be in a place where they are happy and free from pain. In Our Darkest Hour In My Deepest Despair Will You Still Care? Will You Be There? In My Trials And My Tripulations Through Our Doubts And Frustrations In My Violence In My Turbulence Through My Fear And My Confessions In My Anguish And My Pain Through My Joy And My Sorrow In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow I'll Never Let You Part For You're Always In My Heart. |
My heart breaks for those extremely talented people who went to meet their maker :cry8: ...They will be missed. :rip: Ed McMahon, Farrah Faucet, Michael Jackson.....your memories will always be with me for the laughter, songs and talent that you all possesed. |

Very well said Velobabe and Sandysand. |
It saddens me, i was such a big fan of his 80s music and even remeber having a crush on him when i was a little girl lol but thats when he looked gooood. But i feel really bad cause he really did have no childhood and was the way he was cause of that and child abuse:( I hope he has peace now |
I loved this one! |
I seriously cannot believe he is gone. I was in the car, on the way to my interview, when they said he had went into cardiac arrest. A few minutes later, they stopped in the middle of the song and I was like NO! I knew what they were going to say. I'm in shock. I wasn't like an avid fan of Micheal Jackson or anything but I really love all of his music. He's a freakin' legend and such a talented man. Yes, he was a whacko but I've always been one to stick up for him - I really don't blame him, it's not his fault, and I think underneath it all, he had a huge heart. |
It's very sad. I wasn't a big fan of Michael Jackson, but when I heard I was in shock. I feel so bad for his kids. :( |
MJ was probably the first pop singer I was aware of... I was kind of a late bloomer. I think the album I had before that was "Annie". I'm shocked that he died of a heart attack - he was still relatively young. What happened? |
My deepest Sympathies to the Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson Families. Each was a wonderful and Uniquely talented person and an Icon for Millions of adoring Fans!! May all the wonderful memories that you have of them bring you comfort in the future. They each led their lives with grace and mistakes...After all they were human!! But, each came back from earlier mistakes and did so with great grace and dignity!! They each were a shining star and in Farrah's and Michael's case...They left us way too soon!!! All are uniquely beautiful angels now... :tinyheart:2hearts2::rip::angelhalo ED...:rip::angel2dL...FARRAH :rip::angel2:...MICHAEL... :tinyheart:2hearts2: |
I must admit to not really knowing much about the careers of Ed McMahon or Farah Fawcett, but Michael Jackson was my favourite singer when I was younger and a real icon of my generation....am very, very sad:( |
It's just too sad! I am still in shock!!! |
This is heartbreaking news and didn't believe it at first. I had some the Jackson Five records when I was a kid and have listened to him through the years. :(:( |
