I got locked up! In the freaking hospital! I can't believe this. I go into clinic to get thyroid meds and find out it's my heart, not my thyroid. Ain't that a kick in the pants! NOT what I planned for today at all. I wanna go home to my kids and poor Curly Mac. No idea what's going on yet but just thought I'd ask for some good thoughts if you have any extras. :p My son brought me my laptop and although the charge nurse had a fit, I have something to do for the next who knows how long. Now, who's going to stay up and entertain me?:D |
Oh lord! My good thoughts are coming your way ~ I pray its nothing serious! I guess I should go shine up my shoes if I am going to entertain you all night. |
Oh-what a bummer. I hope they figure everything out and you will soon be on your way! Yay for the laptop! Get well soon!!!! Sending hugs your way! |
Oh my!!! What a scary situation! I hope that everything is ok!! Please keep us updated and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers!! |
Glad you are still "connected." Wishing you well -- hope they don't turn up anything serious and get it all under control quickly! Good they kept you, don't want to mess around with the heart. I am not so good at entertaining so here's some flowers instead: :getwellso |
I hate hospitals. Hope everything goes ok for you. |
Thanks guys! Now, I'll just wait for erickajm to get those shoes shined up for my show! LOL :2popkorn: |
K, so I've spent half my life in hospitals and I really thought I'd seen the last of them but here I am. So, me, I'm the funny girl, laugh at everything kinda girl. I'm laying here in this smelly place and looking at the stuff written on the wall charts. Apparently, whoever I replaced in this bed croaked cuz in red marker, there is a time from the clock and then the word arrested. Now, in heart wing talk, that's dead. Unless he was a fugitive, then he just went to jail lol. Either way...yikes! hahaha |

I hope you feel better soon! Hospitals are smelly and pointy. Yuck! I'm not a blood kind of person. But I do hope it's nothing to serious. |
Shannon, my thoughts are with you and I will send up some prayers in your behalf. Yucko plucko -- hospitals are full of sick people! I hope that "arrested" means that the person who shared your bed (well slept in it before you) was a desperate criminal who faked a heart problem to get out of jail to go to the hospital. Maybe he/she was handcuffed to the bed (lol my older son works in a hospital and they really do that :D). I hope that you will soon be back with the kids and Curly Mac. I am sure she is worried about you. |
Thanks mucho! I know my boys will love on Curly but she's so attached to me and when I left I loved her and said I'll be right back baby...and then I didn't come back. Bad momma! I told the boys to sneak her in tomorrow. She is a whopping 3 lbs now so I don't know if she'll fit in the bag hahaha. The worst part about hospitals is the sick people. Now, I'll be sick when I leave. It's always like that. When I walked in, they asked, "YOU'RE our patient???" I said yes, why? He goes, you don't look sick lol. Well thanks! Can I go home now? LOL, not quite. |
Sorry your landed in the hospital. I do like your sense of humor!!!!! Hope you get out soon. |
Keep that sense of humor, it will get you home faster.:getwellso |
ABSOLUTELY! And the woman/man? down the hall better hope I keep my sense of humor cuz if they keep that loud ass moaning up...no tellin what might happen. Oh, and did I tell you forensic files is on my TV when I checked in? hahaha. I don't usually watch TV but this I found amusing. |
Oh my I would be shocked also.. but I bet your glad for a laptop ah.. at least you can amuse yourself with all of us to pass the time.. anne |
:bananna::woof::woof::bananna::woof::woof: I know you have a great sense of humor but I also know I do the same thing... underneath we hid the fear and disappointment... you are my kind of gal! I do hope all comes turns out well.. When will you know more? |
Thanks much! I'm on a monitor all night tonight so they can record how many beats I miss and anything else like that. Then, they wanna do an MRI in the morning but my neck is all made of metal so we're doing at CT instead cuz MRI is magnetized and no good can come of that lol. After that, and forgive me for not remembering the name, but something where they put a wire from my groin up to my heart to have a look around? Doesn't sound fun to me! Who knows what else. Hopefully, after all that, we'll know something! I've had a lot of radiation and chemo throughout my life and 2 "small" heart attacks with my last pregnancy so they think it could be some scarring or some such but they really don't know what's up just yet. Of course, they'll check for cancers again since I've had so many but I don't feel like that's it. Whatever it is, we'll work it out though and thanks for all the good thoughts, juju, and prayers. Send whatevah ya got, I ain't particular!:p |
Sorry to hear you are in the hospital. Praying it is nothing major and you will be out soon. |
Sending the best of thoughts and tons of prayers your way! I'm glad to see you have such an upbeat attitude! I hope everything turns out okay and that you're able to go home soon! |
Sending prayers up! Sounds like unfourntally you know the routine. Hope your fixed up and home soon. Angie |
Praying all turns out fine. Sounds like you are way to familiar with doctors and hospitals. |
know how you feel. same thing happen to me . next thing i know they are putting a stint in my heart! I have in my legs too hope you get to feeling better. |
I'm just seeing this! It's probably too early for the testing to be finished, huh? I'll check back in later for any updates. Metal neck, heart attacks, cancers? You have been through a lot in life! I will keep you in my prayers!! You have to get better fast so you can get home to Curly. :) |
My brother had cancer when he was 21 and lots of chem and radiation, a bone marrow transplant. When he was 30 he had his first heart attack. He has had 2 more since then, they have since told him that some of the meds they gave him to save his life when he had cancer caused him his heart trouble. He just recently had a triple bypass surgery and is doing better than expected. I hope you do not have to go through all of this. he is so young and it is horrible that you have to fight for your life to just have to fight all over again. |
Thanks again everyone. Boy they start early here! Blood lady came in at 3 am! Then I've had everything I think they could do to test my heart and other stuff too! Geebuz! It sure is true, all that radiation and chemo leave behind a plethora of other crap to deal with later. Can't win for losin on that front. No answers yet but hopefully soon. |
Hugs and prayers for you!! |
checking in for an update on you girlie!! thinking of you :) |
