Sometimes the truth just needs to be seen. I personally think you should leave the link because it really makes the story hit home at what horrid disgusting people these two are:mad:. I wrote an e-mail to the DA to show how outraged I was about how little their sentence would be if found guilty. That puppy will never get another chance at life and think about how terrified that baby was.

Speaking ONLY for myself, I can't stand that they kill cows or any other animal for that matter! It's inhumane and just plain wrong and I do my part NOT to support any animal killing. I am vegan, don't use leather anything, including shoes, and I won't even use vitamins that are encapsulated in gelatin shells.:)
So yes, I agree with you on all points. The whole thing is awful.

Some people cannot see the difference, and may not understand why some of us are so upset. I guess I see my dog as a family member. We make plans with him and consider him in everything we do. I know some people just don't see the difference between a dog and a bug even, and will not kill any insect because of this. I have no problem killing a fly, mosquito, or roach, but for some reason, if I catch a moth, I have to take it outside, I feel really guilty if I kill it. The truth is we are constantly killing things, the mouthwash you use, the antibiotics you use, the different cleaning agents you use, are all killing living organisms. Each of us must decide for ourselves what is right or wrong for us, but there is a collective group of people in this country, who think it's really wrong to abuse a dog like this, and we have laws prohibiting this sort of thing, so that's some of the difference. Maybe this group of animal lovers will help raise conditions for all animals in years to come.

I just hope someone didn't do this to prove some type of point like "What's the difference?" You won't change people's minds into becoming more humane by being less humane.

I certainly hope my last reply wasn't misinterpreted to sound like I was ok with what happened. I think it's horribly wrong and I can't stop thinking about this poor pup. :( It's just that I have that same love for other animals too which most people have no problem killing and eating. I just didn't want to be misunderstood on this.
Oh, and I will ad, I have no problem killing insects that will bite us. (self defense and what not) The others I set free lol.

People make me sick!!!! Can I go shoot them or skin them alive!!!
 

People are so cruel to animals. That is why I have 7 dogs and 4 cats because I feel I have to totally give the nine degree to place a pup or pet in a truley loving home. I have found many strays and saved many dogs from cruel owners and placed them with loving ones but I pick them to death and this is exactly why!!!!!! To people like this God will get his pay backs!!:mad:

No, I didn't think you were ok with what happened. I just meant that many people can't even understand why some of us get so upset about this, and not the killing of other animals such as a cow. You asked what is the distinction between a cow and a dog, and I said some people even go further and can't see the difference between a dog and a bug and a cow. I've had friends before who couldn't kill an ant, and literally would have to take them outside the house, and she just didn't understand how I could prioritize animals, and say this one was better than that one, or had more rights. But I can and do prioritize different animals. I've been around cows before, and they really just didn't affect me as something that had much of a personality. The cows I've seen in movies seem to be more alive than the ones I saw in real life. This does not mean I condone the suffering of cows. I just never thought of them like I do a dog. Dogs seem to really look at humans, and interact with them; I never got that same feeling from cows. Like I said before, I believe this is a very personal thing, and I'm not saying my beliefs are the ones everyone should have. I admire those with higher standards than my own. I was just trying to explain what the "distinction was between a cow and a dog" for me.

That person is SICK in the head. I really don't understand how anyone could do that to a poor little puppy. Just a few weeks ago I read a story on how this girl put her friend's kitten in the oven and cooked it. According to the story she was playing a prank and said she did it b/c she 'hated cats'. I hope these people get minimum 10 years in jail. :mad:

Lets see, If anyone of us did this to another person we would sit in prison for the better part of life or life, but Assh****'s like this get off with only 5 years!!! This dog didn't ask to be born but it was. And as far as I'm concerned they should have the very same rights as the Human race. They eat, Breather, Learn. In my eyes there just people without the ability to speak. All animals are special even the mean one's, it how we teach and treat them that makes them the way they are, Love goes a long way.

I hate to say this, But I hope they live in fear everyday that there in prison, and are to chicken Sh*t to tell anyone why there in. And if they end up getting beat everyday by other inmates, then this is just a little bit of pay back for the little one that's is gone.

I'm sorry if I sound PISSED, but I can't stand this type of animal abuse!
