This whole thing is just sickening!! I believe they are trotting him out for public relations and obviously think that we are stupid enough to believe that his "prison time", confined to his home, has rehabilitated him!! Please ... don't insult my intelligence!! I would imagine that he would "pretend" anything they ask him to in order to try to rebuild his reputation and restore his career. It's one thing to "do good" for fame and money and a totally different thing to do it because you feel it in your heart ... I don't believe for a split second that this is from his heart! If it were, at some point he would have shown compassion for those poor animals that they were torturing and killing!! He is a monster!

I'm headed over to the HSOUS to cancel my subscription and to send a note to Wayne Pacelle that I will neither contribute nor support their organization again. I know one person won't make a difference to them but it will make me feel better!!

Hey, We live in Atlanta and I think he should have been put in a dogfight in prison himself and stayed there. At least the Falcons won't let him play here anymore. He will probably go to a team that has all the players that get arrested. A lot of people here still support him and even let their children wear his jerseys.

Let me guess, the Kansas City Chiefs?? Lol i'm from the KC, MO area, but i can't stand the way those players act and get away with it, but they have a new manager and coach that's pretty much vowed to make these guys cut the crap, hopefully they'll be a little bit better now

I'm not surprised by the news. The NFL is a business. Are we really shocked they chose to make a money based decision over a moral based decision? Roger Goodell did set some "conditions", but I feel Vick will be playing full on by week eight of the season. The only thing he needs is a team to see past his (well earned) stigma and he will be playing again. I just hope it's not for my team !

"In testimony before the bankruptcy judge, Vick acknowledged committing a "heinous" act and said he should have acted more maturely." Give me a freakin break! He STILL hasn't said he is sorry. Act more maturely? OMG does he even know that want he did was cruel and nothing short of barbaric? Does he even know that heinous means EVIL? And of course he will be playing again. It is all about the money. I think that NO ONE should be allowed to play professional sports if they have a criminal record. Athletes have too much influence on the youth in this country! I think I am going to write a letter to every team owner and tell them what I think of Vick and them if they even consider hiring him although he probably already has a deal. sigh

I know how you feel Lou, but don't waste your time. The NFL could care less about what is moral and good. All that want is a body out there that can win games. They act like they do sometimes and try to stop the steriod use but if it can be hidden they don't care. I do admire your passion but it's wasted, I'm afraid.

I agree - it's just like the baseball steroid testing from 2003 that was hidden - now all is coming out but the games are so rigged and the players will CHEAT to get those big paychecks that they've totally changed the concept of sports. I'm glad they tightened up the regs but still - who knows what gets swept under the rug even now

you can bet the NFL cares nothing about what Vick did - nothing.

This is why college football ( go dawgs) is so much better. Most of the players aren't corrupted yet and they love playing the game.

I watched the news the other night and saw MV practicing for the upcoming
season. Don't know what team it was for because I turned it off with disgust!
It's so frustrating that the NFL has no compassion for those innocent dogs
all they think about is $$$$$.
Yes, MV did, horriffically torture and kill some of his dogs because they
lost a fight. What he did to them makes me ill. In my heart I know he
has no remorse for what he did. That's who he is. There is no way
my child would be wearing his # on their backs! I'd burn the shrit if
they ever brought it home. Anyone who condones what this evil man
has done, IMO, is as bad as he is.
Someone mentioned about the NFL starting a team for those player's
who were in jail, they could call it "THE CELL BLOCK LOOSER'S".
Maybe going up against other NFL teams they would all get the
starch taken out of them. Now that's a game I would watch.

I hope this SOB sit's on the bench the rest of his life and thinks about
all he once had and now has ziltch! It's just what he deserves.
