| Just do an image search to put your mind at ease. The bites are very distinctive and are usually in a line and almost look like scratches. I learned while researching them that their bites are called 'breakfast, lunch and dinner':rolleyes:. Gross, right? They freak me out too and my husband's bites took quite a while to heal. We went on a weekend trip about 3 weeks after the "incident" and I was a wreck in the hotel. He travels quite a bit though and used to travel all of time and this was the first bed bug experience.
eta: from what I've read they are really hard to find because they are so small and kind of clear. They hide in the seams of the mattress. It's probably easiest to identify them by bites. Gawd I can't believe I know anything about bedbugs. Anyway, whatever the source, aren't you lucky to be so sweet and inviting to whatever it is?:p |
