Am I over reacting.........
 

BECAUSE I am pissed!!!..Last night after work my bf's mother came home from her job and asked if she could babysit Maximus...so I wonder why would she ask that....well my bf wanted to go drive to a/c so he had asked her if she could watch Maximus and we would pick him up in the morning....she called to ask me if it was okay. SO fine I say okay...it is about 7:00 when we get there and we start playing...mind you I have work the next day (today) and we are driving back...my contacts start irritating my eyes..I am LOSING...and I am TIRED..at 11:30..I ask if we can go...no still playing..at 12:00 I ask if we can go..in a few minutes...well at 12:30..I tell him give me the keys and I will go to the car and close my eyes for a few minutes...just meet me there..well I go to the car and close my eyes and wake up at 1:30..still no sign of my bf....cell phones don't work in there and his is in the car anyways..so I close my eyes again and this time wake up it is 2:45....he left me in the friggin car for over 2 hours...so I stomped in there and was like "are you ******* joking me"..he was like I thought you were sleeping....would you just leave your girlfriend sleeping in the car for 2 hours and not even think anything is wrong..I FLIPPED out last night in front of everyone at the table I went back to the car...and didn't speak to him for the rest of the night..as soon as we got hom he was trying to hug me and whatever...no apology so I told him to kiss my a**...and I am about 90% less pissed thenm I was last night...but I am still livid...I am a taurus..it takes alot to get me mad but once I am look for cover...do you think I am over reacting???....did I mention I woke up to a strange guy peeing by the car the second time (grrrr!!!!!!!!!!1)

I can only say I hope your car was LOCKED while you were sleeping and no - If I ever fell asleep in the car waiting on someone - I would expect them to come get me.

He may have really thought you were tired and needed to sleep & was trying to be thoughtful - but that's DANGEROUS. Especially if there was a lowlife peeing in the streets - you could have been in serious trouble if he was a psychopath, saw a sleeping woman and decided to act on something. Cars are one of the places women are attacked.

How long have you been going with this boyfriend? He knew you had to work the next day? He thought you were sleeping in the car? Was this in Atlantic City? (a/c?)
You can do better. Find someone that actually CARES about you. JMHO! ;)

That was I was saying this in the middle of the morning..2 am...and you would just leave your gf in the car...why wouldn't yuo get up and say she's in the car waiting for me..so I could go home to my bed and go to sleep??? I just don't understand!!!

5 years....yeah that is the way I am feeling today...and he knows it..I am about to leave him because this was like the last inconsiderate final straw...YES a/c

first off..is your name Samantha too? Because mine is and this sounds a little like my life. Sometimes guys just don't realize how selfish they're being. They wonder why we throw fits and tell them to kiss our a** sometimes lol. I definitely feel ya here... tell him what's up...and hold out on him for awhile ;) lol

I'm sorry, it can be heart breaking. But, do you want this to continue? He will always be inconsiderate. No, you can not change a mans behavior. It will always keep surfacing. Like I said, you can do better and you deserve better. Find a man that appreciates you. ;)

It is a long time...but that is what's making me wonder if after all this time....he's still such an a**hole...is this something I want to live with my entire life...I know everyone doesn't get their "fairytale"...but I just see certain things never changing... :sigh: .... I left him a note this morning telling him I need space...just to think so we'll see...but I am still LIVID!!!!.....and I definitely won't be going to a/c anymore just on a whim...yes I am Samantha

I agree with what you said - Sam, you can't change him. If this is how he has been treating you for 5 years, he will never change. It's his personality and he doesn't see anything wrong with his behavior. If it really bothers you, you may want to consider other options to figure out where your relationship is going long term. I know you love him but do you love the way he treats you? Can you overlook the way he treated you last night, even if he does it again and again (which he probably will)? If not, then it may be time to end things. I'm sorry this happened to you. You're a sweet and beautiful girl and you don't deserve to be treated this way. Have Maximus give you lots of kisses tonight. Codie and Katie send kisses and hope you feel happier soon.

You are NOT over reacting! That sounds too familiar and you have every right to be pissed! Hopefully the note you left him will give him a scare! I don't know what to say except to hold your ground on this one, and make sure he rally knows how mad he made you (but it sounds like you are doing a fine job of this!)

O wow Samantha, I think you have a lot of restraint and no, you did not over react. Long about 11:00, I would have lost it. Thank goodness nothing happened to you while you were asleep. That is just scary. Does he typically treat you like this or is this unusual? If it is typical, don't stand for that!

He is not a bad guy...he loves Maximus and he loves me too...I don't want to make him sound like that...but he is a) selfish -- only child....I accepted that..but when he gambles he just doesn't give a cr**...and that is what pissed me off....he doesn't care...I don't know there are just a ton of little things that have been grating my nerves...we shall see..I think Maximus and I need to get away for a weekend...Dawn we may end up on your doorstep..lol..j/k

Oh, my! If you're not even married yet, I can only say, my dear, that I would not want to see how he would treat you as his wife! :cool:
