A Few Wedding Pics of My son

Hi ...my son just emailed me these pictures and I wanted to share them - He was just married in Little Compton RI but lives here in Texas.

I'm such a dork I started crying when I saw his beautiful face - it's like he's still a little boy to me and I can't believe he's even married ....man, it's so hard seeing them all grown up

Since I didn't post pictures yet - I wanted to share where I was....and show off my Son and his new wife....my brand new daughter...Sam (Samantha)

We had a great week there and the beach was spectacular....The big rock sits about 1/2 mile offshore....We've all grown up on that beach and it was Reids dream to have his wedding there.

The 3rd pic is both my boys together - The Groom and His Best Man ...my guys. (Hey Megan - this one's for you sweetie)

oh villette he's so cute! its not fair... :rolleyes: lol. congratulations to him and you. i'm sure a great MIL! oh yeah, those are great pics very pretty and your son and daughter in law look very nice together!

WOW Megan - that was FAST ! I went to edit it to add that last pic was for you and you had already posted lol !! you are lightening ...Thank you sweetie - these pictures sure choked me up - they're going to have an online album and I've been aol'ing him every day saying ARE THEY UP YET ?

I can't wait to see the pics of his weiner boys in their little Tux Bow Ties - they were so cute in the wedding - During the ceremony they crawled under one of the Bridesmaids dresses and were peeking out ... it was so hard to keep from cracking up...I was laughing and crying at the same time. The Bridesmaid did a good keeping a straight face ...better than I did.

WHAT!?!??! you mean you weren't....... :rolleyes: lol, seriously they are awsome pictures and his new wife is very pretty, he is very hot, there for they make a perfect couple!

Those pictures are the best! They must have had a great photographer and you couldn't ask for a better scenery in the background! Congratulations to your family.

Your sons are very handsome young men! 2 out of 4 of my kids
are now married. It's almost bitter sweet...So, hard to see them
all grown up and starting lives of their own yet you know the
best is still to come. Just wait until the grand babies start pouring
in! Thanks so much for sharing the pictures I can't think of one
of us that hasn't been dying to see them.

Villette, I love the black and white pics. But I am a fan of B&W. Now, no matter how old your son will get, he is still your son and your little boy, no need in thinking that is silly. You think you are seeing him all grown up now, wait till you get to see his reaction when they start their family. Then it really sinks in.... :D Thanks for sharing the pics I love the east coast too !!!

Thank you Sheila ! I'm very proud of them - - I had them pretty young and raised them myself ....as we did have some tough times but we are so close even now that I'm just so amazed I have grown men when I keep seeing little boys. Both my ex and I really were crying at the wedding - Things really hit you when they get married - he's my first baby and a piece of my heart is in those pictures.

I can relate. When our oldest go married gosh it's 3 years now. Time flies we went to Delaware. It was a beautiful wedding and my daugher-in-law is great. I told her she is just like a daughter to me. And now we have a 1 year old grandaughter. Just wait until they make you a grandmother.

I was looking through the wedding pictures the other day. Of course I started crying not just because it brought back some great memories but, also because there were some great pictures of Sam & Ethan in there. Sam sure did love his little brother and vice versa.

Anyway I'm starting to cry now as I type this so that's enough for now. Didn't mean to get so sappy.

Congratulations! They make a beautiful couple & your boys are very nice looking - looks like they took after their mom!! My son will be getting married in January & it's not a good sign when I am already getting teary eyed looking & reading your post :rolleyes: ! (We are going to Azul Resort in Mexico for our son's big day, followed by a reception after they return from their honeymoon.) Post MORE pics as they become available - how about one of mom with the handsome boys!!!

Thank you everyone - I really appreciate the nice words !

Rachel - The wedding was WAY more than I was ready for - you are going to be just so emotional ....Congratulations on your Son's upcoming wedding - January will be here before you know it ! I didn't want to bombard anyone with pictures - I have lots of pics from my throwaway camera but my scanner broke :( - but when Reid gets his pics online - I'll be sure to share some more - thank you !

WOW, Villette .... what handsome guys you have!! :) The B&W are just beautiful ... that's our faves too! Your Sam is just beautiful ... hope the two of you become as close as my Cindy and I are! She is just like my very own daughter ... I hate to have to add "-in-law" to her title so I introduce her as my "Daughter-in-love"!!! ;) Congratulations, I know how proud you must be!!
