I know how hard it is on you Mom's. I don't remember my kids being so thick headed. LOL. We are teaching Isabella pinky-promise. Once she pinky-promises she has to stick by that. She seems to be taking it serious at this point so I hope this sticks with her. She has been bribed and on rides at the mall more times than I can count. Some kids are a breeze other's give you a run for your money. You seem to be living my daughter's life and via-versa. I feel for both of you. |
You're doing right Mommy! Just keep it up. My cousin's baby London is the same age as Amelia. When she's with her parents, she is he** on wheels! But when she's with my mom, her Nana, she doesn't push her limits as far. My cousin and his wife will call my mom and midnight and say "London won't go to sleep can you keep her tonight." They'll bring her to my mom and as soon as she gets there she lays down and goes to sleep. That's because when London first started doing the no sleep thing, my mom put blankets over all the windows so it was totally dark and told London it was bed time. She cried and played and cried again but finally she got bored and went to sleep. Now she knows that when Nana says bedtime, she might as well go to sleep. |
