I heard they got overloaded and had server problems and are trying to get things back up and running. Hopefully they will extend the time to print the coupons because of this problem. P.S. my DH said "Darn, I was going to take you there for Mother's Day"!!!! |

My DH was trying to print them on Tuesday... Thank God it didn't work!! Yesterday , May 5th was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and he thought that would be a nice place to go!!LOL He took me to TGI Friday's instead... Much more romantic!!LOL Not that I don't love the Colonal!! I just tried again, so that I could take the coupons along when we leave for Arkansas on Sunday. That would be 2 meals that I would'nt have to worry about paying for. It still didn't work and it's 2:00 am here in PA. I'll keep trying until I get it to work. Love that Kentucky Fried Chicken and would love to try the new baked chicken too!! Thanks for printing the Link...Maybe tomorrow it'll work...:D |

Thanks for the link -- It let me download four coupons. I have been wanting to try the new grilled chicken. I know there was a big scandal about the cruel way chickens were treated before slaughter, but I think they have tried to clean up that mess. Truthfully, there is probably a similar disgusting atmosphere at all the slaughter houses. Hopefully with every expose, conditions improve. |
I'm now reading about the coupon redemption on a deals forum and well, it seems that a whole lot of people are abusing it. Like one who printed 50 coupons (well above the 4 limit). After church, brought his entire group with him to redeem free meals. At least it says "while supplies last" and at "participating locations" so that might give KFC a chance to pull out before they really do lose tons of money. :eek: There was one guy on there who stated clearly he's going to go in every day and redeem x amount until it's over. Hope the abusers don't spoil it for the rest of you! |

well this stinks! I followed directions and then clicked print coupons and nothing happened so I tried it again and it said I already printed out the coupons. Ugh! I guess I ain't gettin' em.:mad: |

My 19 year old son says it's Kentucky FRIED Chicken...why grilled? That's the reason everyone loves it..It's fried. I printed my coupons and I'm sure he will stop there with the free coupon between classes. I tell him "It's free" He loves that part haha. True, why is Oprah promoting KFC. It's not 'healthy' at all. I'm sad. I looked up the ingredients. It's marinated in MSG! I can't have that since it triggers migraines for me. :( Well, I am also allergic to wheat and its coated in it too. Oh well. Coupons that end in 1234 All PDF versions of the coupon end in 1234. Some locations aren't taking them. Also make sure your coupon has a watermark in the middle (at top) behind "Free 2 pc Kentucky Fried Chicken meal". So photocopying may not work. I work in a library and we have public computers, well the site you get the coupons from stores IP addresses and was not set up for one computer to have multiple people logging on trying to get the coupons. Also we can't download the 'coupon maker' software so even if they came up we can't get them. It really got to me because we have a large homeless population in my town, and SOOO many people came in trying to get the coupons and couldn't. Good Luck to everyone that got one printed out. For me, I'm just glad its over tonight. |
This whole thing is turning out to be a disaster for lots of people. While I was still watching Oprah's show I went online and printed out 3 coupons. Today we went to KFC for lunch and they wouldn't accept our coupons because I did not download them directly from the website "unthinkkfc.com" and all of the barcodes were the same but should be different. I threw a fit and the lady behind me looked at hers and it was the same as mine. Her question was "do you mean mine won't work either". Yep....that's right, they would not accept our coupons and claim neither she or I read the directions like most people do. By now, I'm really pissed off and swear I will never eat at KFC again. They were so rude to us. When I got home I went back to Oprah's website and the method of downloading these coupons is very different than it was when I downloaded mine. SO BEWARE...make sure all of your coupon barcodes a different and DO NOT end in "1234". Oh, and for the heck of it I tried to download from the correct site and it told me I already downloaded them????? What the heck???? OK...enough ranting about KFC. |

Yes they have to be downloaded from "unthinkkfc.com if it messes up and you dont get all 4 printed out keep trying dont x the page off, I had some trouble too but still ended up getting to print out all 4. deadline for printing is tonight. Coupon available for printing from 9 a.m. CDT on May 5, 2009 to 11:59 p.m. CDT on May 6, 2009. Coupon is redeemable at participating KFC® locations in the United States from May 5, 2009 to May 19, 2009 – excluding Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009. Our KFC wouldnt let us get the grilled only the reg or crispy. We just ate our meal. Thanks Oprah. |
