There was a very large counter top with bar stools in this space.
I got so sick of it, the kids are bigger now and don't use the counter
top any longer so I had a carpenter remove it and I replaced it with
this adorable distressed look buffet. I bought it at Home Goods.
I need to work there. I love everything in that store.
What do you think?

Thanks everyone. Once I make up my mind to do something I don't rest

I can't believe I found blue and white too.
My daughter keeps telling me blue is out and I love it
and keep searching for pieces. Blue will always be in
to me.

I was so excited when it opened and it has not let me down.
I think I will apply for a part time job there next year when I

That sounds dangerous! ;):D You might just want to tell them that you'll barter for a paycheck. :p I had a friend who went to work for a small gift shop and she is always "finding" neat things and gifts. I am no sure she's really ever gotten a full "paycheck". Ha, Ha.

Carol what a gorgeous piece..OMG....I can't go into Home Goods anymore. I'm banned from that store..lol. There is no way you go for one thing..you come out with twenty.:eek: Hey I love blue (I don't have it in my kitchen) and tons of my friends have that combo in their kitchen and I love it. I used to have blue and yellow in one of my other homes and to this day that was my favorite.

I love wine too and that's a perfect little set up for that. :D

Blue and yellow is beautiful as well. Anything with blue is fine with me.
As far as the wine, I love that too:p

Thank you all for your nice comments. That piece had my name written
all over it. It amazes my daughter how I can pick something out in a flash
without thinking about it. It takes her weeks to make up her mind! It's so stressful to shop with her. :rolleyes:

Carol! I love it! Isn't it fun making changes now and then? Hee hee...I couldn't help but notice the wine bottles! I think I'll be over to taste test it!
